( more holders are available for purchase) Each holder and a hub made out of unfinished maple wood so grain and wood color might slightly vary as it is never the same do to the nature of the wood. The train tokens are made out of finished walnut. The wooden small train is also made out of a finished walnut or finished maple. We will ship out a walnut one ( darker color) if you don't specify in the instructions that you would like a light colored one. 3D Trains can be purchased separately and not part of the set. This set can per personalized with your family name or a message of your choice so be sure to enter that upon check out. PLEASE, MEASURE HOW THICK YOUR DOMINOES ARE AND CHOOSE THE RIGHT OPTION. I couldn't find instructions to make the racks anywhere, so I made my own and I’m uploading it here for other people who want to make them, too. It’s a very simple project and it's worth it!

The object of the game is for a player to play all the tiles from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or trains, emanating from a central hub or "station". Most Mexican Train sets come with the dominoes, train tokens, and a plastic hub or station. If you are a diehard lover of the game though you NEED a proper station. These hubs are made from Hickory and come in a set with 8 diecast metal trains in their own metal storage container and a handy bag for storage. PLEASE NOTE: DOMINOES ARE NOT INCLUDED. The station is approximately 6.5" x 6.5" x .75" and made out of Hickory. The trains are diecast metal and are housed in a black tin box, and the whole thing fits into a small canvas bag. There is an option to put engraving on the reverse of the board for a small surcharge.
