Ever noticed how much kids love a good theme? A central topic is such a great way to get little ones engaging in all sorts of things – reading, writing, art and (best of all) new types of open-ended play. Plus planning a few weeks of play around the same topic gives the kids time …
This homemade herbal slime is guilt free! No toxins, borax free, no glue! Just 3 ingredients (one of them is water) and it's 100% edible! I'm a little late to the slime trend. I avoided it for so long because one it's messy and quite honestly.... with 5 kids, I just don't enjoy more mess. (I'm not one of those moms. I send my kids to Grandma's house for the messy crafts). The other reason I steered clear of homemade slime is because it always contained ingredients that were not natural enough for me. Many homemade slime recipes use glue

Have you ever had a day you weren't really looking forward to, for one reason or another, but actually turned out to be really great? That's exactly what happened to me a few Fridays ago. We had C's dental appointment and I decided to bring S along so she could get the feel of the place for when her turn arrives. The idea of trying to keep her still while making sure he was relaxed was already worrying me a bit that morning. To add to what could have been an awful series events, upon arriving for the appointment

I included the weaving below the picture, because there's just no way I could explain this coherently. I have lots of fly-aways and layers in my hair, so the braid actually looks better messy than clean and tight in my hair. It's a nice style for a day of errands or just hanging around and nothing fancy. :)
Hi, I am Stephanie Pokorny of Crochetverse! Our family is absolutely obsessed with all things Halloween and so each year I freehand crochet fully body costumes, with no pattern, for my children. Sometimes they are from classic 80s movies, other times from whatever movie or toy is popular at the time. Once they choose their costumes, I begin on bringing their costumes to life.
I went looking for ideas on how to corral it, and I thought I'd share some of my faves with you.
