When I currently walk with my dog on this dike (Holthuizerdijk or Huissense Dijk) along the Immerloo Park (Arnhem, the Netherlands), I see this meadow with horses and lots of Cow Parsley (or Wild Chervil, Wild Beaked Parsley or Keck) and the Holthuizer Kolk (the pond) in the background.

With a brief to create a garden in the Italian countryside in tune with its surroundings, the designer Stuart Barfoot combined subtle landscaping with romantic plantings in a wildlife-rich scheme that captivates the senses.
These two images were taken when the ox-eye daisies were in bloom near Bishop Wilton.
