It took Noah a hundred years to build the great ark that would save the animal kingdom from the flood that took forty days to cover even the highest mountain on Earth. Today, the survivors of that captivity are experiencing their sixth mass extinction due to the disappearance of their habitats, in this case due to the actions of man. "Habitats" is a candid illustrated tribute to the protagonists of these small and surprising ecosystems that balance our coexistence on Earth, a beautiful blue planet that must be pampered now with more urgency than ever. High quality printing on 250g matte Tintoretto textured paper. Size 30x40 cm, vertical format. Ideal for any room in the home (especially children's rooms) with a fresh, colorful, special and purposeful piece: kindness to animals represents a better world for everyone. Monumental challenges threaten the sixth mass extinction on planet Earth. From increasing rates of infertility and chronic disease to soil degradation and climate collapse, reviving civilization requires changemakers to step forward and lead with their own unique genius. In Soil & Spirit, Ian C. Williams presents a simple solution: self-actualization. Solutions at scale begin with individuals organizing themselves. Ian guides the reader through that process via four primary landscapes: internal, social, external, and spiritual. These landscapes chart the path from personal to planetary transformation. Soil & Spirit is not only a message but a methodology for designing resilient landscapes, both inside and out. Creating a regenerative future means committing to self-cultivation. Once you learn to navigate the four primary landscapes and awaken to your life's core purpose, you become a catalyst for true cultural transformation. | Author: Ian C. Strengthen your video-based lessons with these differentiated video worksheets made for Mass Extinction: Life At The Brink which teaches middle/high school students about the KT and end Permian extinction, highlighting the role that fossils play in providing information about history on Earth. Using Mass Extinctions: Life At The Brink Video Worksheet, students will be engaged in your video-based lessons and will strengthen their understanding of mass extinctions and fossils. This product goes beyond asking students generic, low-level questions (e.g.“What year was the first fossil found?”) and requires students to think about the relevant science content that is presented. __________________________________________________________________________________________ THIS PRODUCT INCLUDES A teacher’s guide that provides you with a suggested use of this product with your students. 1 video worksheet that contains fill-in-the-blank, list, and short answer questions. Hotly debated among scientists, the end of the dinosaurs during the Cretaceous mass extinction, gave rise to the organisms that we see today.
A drying climate caused a mass extinction among plants, but paved the way for the ancestors of modern reptiles, mammals, and birds.

About The Artwork Wall mounted, white relief. Painted paper mache on a plain canvas base. The organic composition is made of strips of paper mache, fixed on canvas, finished by white paint. The strips measure up to 30 centimeters in lenth and 20 centimeters in height. I see a comet hurtling through the earth’s atmosphere, just moments before impact. This work is inspired by the comet that impacted the earth 65 million years ago and caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, paving the way for the evolution of humans. Ironically, today, humans are the cause of the sixth mass extinction with many species already lost. The artwork uses D rings with a steel wire as hanging hardware. It is large but not heavy (approx.15 kg). Still, due to its size it must be handled by two people. Mounting hardware must be considered depending on the wall type. A screw with a screw plug is advised for brick or stone walls. If the wall is made of a wooden framework and plasterboard look for where the stud frame is and use two heavy duty J hanging hooks fixed to the studs. Drywall: If you know the drywall is robust you can use a special anchor for dry walls. Roojoom: 'The geologic time scale is a way that scientists work to understand the timespan of our planet based on empirical and fossil-based evidence. This evidence is then used to try and place events in Earth’s history. Many things on our planet, such as the formation of mountains, or the draining of lakes by rivers, take millions of years. The creation of life on earth and the extinction of life on earth has happened many times over. Scientists have documented at least 5 mass extinctions. '
I run a handmade collective of studio artists, fair traders, and ethical vintage dealers, and am always so inspired by the work they create. Animals are a favorite category of mine and it distresses me so much what is happening to our planet with climate change and everything else we are experiencing. We are witnessing the 5th mass extinction on the planet and we can still reverse it if we work together.
