This is a nice little packet for all of the Mand objectives on the VB-MAPP. I love the way this data sheet is laid out - it includes all the criteria for each objective and it gives space to write in what you observe. Some of those Level 3 mands are tough right?! Especially the intraverbal mands... whew. Even my most verbal guys right now aren't even close to that yet. Those are some high level expectations for our kiddos with autism. I applaud you if you are seeing your students get there! I got this data sheet from a colleague who got it from another teacher, and so on. It has been floating around our department so I am unsure who exactly made it but I hope it spreads far and wide for all VB-MAPP testers out there to use! Here is the link! - Happy Friday! :) sample page for level 2!

Vintage Topographic Map of the Mississippi River Meander Belt, Plate 22 Sheet 7. First Published in 1944, we've restored and added shaded relief from lidar data for a 3D-like Visual Perspective. This is a flat 2D print with very realistic shading that appears as though it is 3D. Note that the main theme to our relief maps is the hillshading affect and in certain shaded areas on the map the process can make some of the original text illegible. Additionally, since we offer prints in sizes smaller than the original scale, this can make some text on the map illegible. That being said, the maps are stunning and intended for visual pleasure and not for geographic use. Print Options: Matte Paper (Frameless). Museum-quality print made on thick and durable matte paper. This is a digitally rendered topographic map (printed in 2D(*)) from 1950 of the Western United States (compiled by the U.S. National Geodetic Survey) - 1st edition. Digital Elevation Data (DEM), obtained from the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission is processed and digitally rendered to create a highly detailed elevation profile (printed on a flat surface - note: these prints are NOT raised relief maps). Prints are available in various sizes. As these images are high resolution renders with a high level of detail, large prints on professional photographic paper, metal or acrylic are available and provide stunning results! (**/***/****). __________________________________________________________ * These prints are printed on a flat surface (HD photo paper, HD metal or other material). The prints are NOT 3D or raised relief maps. ** Photo frames are NOT included and are shown for display purposes only. *** If you order a print on HD Metal (which looks beautiful!), please allow for for 7-14 business days processing time. Metal prints come with a mount for easy hanging (so no frame necessary!). Today's post is going to share a few simple games to add to your word work time. Read the book Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss. Illustrate Game Cards Have the students make illustrations to match the word on the game card. I think it is much more beautiful when we use children's art word rather than clipart. Match The Rhyme Working with a small group of children I start with the cards facing up. I would pick a card and the students would have to find the card that rhymes. Find the Rhymes Working independently, students find words that rhyme and put them together. They could record them in their word study journals. Memory Game Play a game of memory. The object of the game would be to flip over a card and find a match. ZOOSE!!! The cards can be played for a game of ZOOSE! In the past, I have shared a game called Moose but instead of Moose we will use a silly word ZOOSE. You take a card and if you read it you get to keep it. If you pick the ZOOSE card all of your cards go back in the deck. click here for Dr. Seuss Rhyming Cards

This conceptual paper offers a reconsideration of the application of Novakian concept mapping to higher education research by putting to work the Deleuzian concept of the rhizome. We ask: what does thinking with Deleuze’s concepts offer researchers interested in concept mapping, and what conceptual, and terminological, obstacles might be created through such a reconceptualization? We have focused on the rhizomatic principles of mapping and tracing in the context of concept mapping. We contend that Deleuze offers a fresh line of flight with the potential to deterritorialise the discourse surrounding concept mapping, thus widening its applicability and increasing its accessibility to researchers who do not necessarily share the same arborescent concept mapping heritage: with its roots in science education. Exploring the overlap between rhizomatics and concept mapping also allows for the reappraisal and blurring of the boundary between structural and post-structural discourses—breaking down an unproductive binary in the literature.
