First, the left panel is knit flat and includes the left front and left back of the shorts. Second, the right panel is knit flat and includes the right front and right back of the shorts. Third, the crotch seams are hand seamed shut with a tapestry needle. Fourth, stitches are picked up for the waistband and knit in the round. Lastly, elastic is folded into the waistband and crocheted shut. Techniques expected to be understood: long tail cast on, knit, purl, bind off, vertical invisible hand seaming (including slopes), pick up stitches, crocheting surface slip stitches, sewing an elastic band together. These shorts are relatively simple, but include purl stitches 50% of the time. You’ve been warned! Fit: These shorts are intended to fit loose like basketball shorts or sweatpants shorts. They can be worn casually or dressed up! This pattern is for a modern and trendy mock neck top. This classic mock neck top is a great transition piece from season to season. It's nice and cozy from the mock neck yet still functional due to it being sleeveless. The ribbing of this piece gives a fresh and clean look that ties directly into the ribbing of the mock neck and the arm details. The stretchiness of this top is also a great feature that'll hug your curves and still keep you comfortable. This quick and easy top is a blast to make cause it works up fast and you get an outcome that's perfect for any occasion. This piece took approx 8-10 hours to completed and 600 yards of yarn. Deima's Sporty Shorts Light and sporty shorts knitted in a soft and new type of summer yarn, made of cotton, modal and viscose, in double rib. the shorts are high-waisted and loose in the legs, with a panel down each side. The inspiration comes from classic running shorts, and the structure has been played with a bit, to add a little excitement to the look and the knitting process. The shorts will be your favorite cosy uniform in the winther months inside. To knit the shorts, you must be able to knit & purl, make increases and the bind off method is a bit different, but i believe that even a beginner would be able to pick it up and make them look neat. Wear them with sneakers and a cute sweatshirt to complete the sporty look, or a nice shirt and sandals for a more formal look. The original yarn is not available in many yarn stores, but it is highly recommended. It is amazing to knit with, and falls so nicely after washing. And it comes in so many beautiful colors.
