Missing & Homeless - Donate Blessing Bag items or make your own to hand out Start with: Ziplock bags (Gallon size)/ Canvas bags/ Backpacks/ Purse/ Suitcase with wheels *** List of suggested items (travel sized).*** - Toothbrush, Paste, Floss & Mouthwash - Shampoo & Conditioner - Body wash .(Not bar soap, messy once used & melts) - Nail clippers & hair comb - Tampons & pads - Wet wipes/ baby wipes - Pack of tissues or toilet paper - Chapstick - Roll on deodorant (Not solid sticks- they melt & crack) - Lotion/ Sunblock - Band Aids/ mini first aid kit - Socks, gloves & hats - Pocket rain poncho - Emergency blanket (Small enough fits in a pocket & warm) - Coins (small bag of quarters) - Led Key-chain light - Matches/ Lighter - Deck of cards - Notebook & Pen - Envelopes & stamps - Hand warmers & Heated foot insoles for shoes - Hand sanitizer - Insect Repellent - Razor - Cough Drops & EmergenC Packets - Laundry detergent - Pack of Tylonal - Prepaid phone cards - Bus Passes - Gift Cards for fast food, coffee or grocery store - List of local homeless shelters or food banks - Snacks & bottled water --- Fig Newtons, Cereal bars & Granola bars (Fig's & Cereal bars are best, many don't have teeth) --- Crackers --- Raisins --- Peanut butter crackers (protein) --- Cheese crackers --- Trail Mix --- Applesauce, fruit or Jello cup & spoon --- Fruit snacks, dried fruit or apple chips --- Cup of noodles --- Beef Jerky (Protein) --- Peanut butter (Protein) --- Pouches of tuna (protein) --- Tuna or chicken salad kits (Protein) --- Can of v8 or Juice box --- Tea bags, Hot chocolate or Instant coffee --- Peppermints (Especially in winter, when there is lots of coughs & colds) * Assemble items in bags, perhaps include a Gospel pamphlet, a prayer, a kind message or note of encouragement...
