Maine lobster has a storied past when it comes to New England -- but the history of this crustacean as a cultural touchstone reaches far beyond this region.

This is an image from Smugglers Notch which is in Northern Vermont and is a great place for taking images - so much to shoot there. The colors also were incredible there. I have tried to list some of them in the following blog Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me ???????? Click the link to read the following blog to see all the images from the trip and see a special slideshow I put together which shows some of the highlights from the trip Kevin McNeal's Blog For the slideshow the software would not upload the volume button or load a start and stop button so you will have to lower the volume from your computer - sorry about that !!

Hilltop inn above picturesque Camden, with Euro style, an award-winning restaurant and views of Penobscot Bay With a design that’s equal parts Dutch and Down East and an award-winning restaurant, the Camden Harbour Inn attracts guests from around the world. The crisp white and gray inn sits on a hill overlooking the staunchly old-school town of Camden, and folks from Boston and guests from foreign shores can be found together on the inn’s porch overlooking Penobscot Bay. This 140-year-old property is suffused with love for both its home state and for European style. The structure dates from 1874, but the inn underwent a considerable overhaul by the owners, a Dutch duo who stay close to the action here.
