The Lots of Lavender stamp set is so versatile, I want to show you more ways you can use it! Today's card is a sympathy card. Truthfully - and this sounds funny - I love sending sympathy cards. And the reason is that it's such an important time in the life of others, so sad, and sending a card is something we can actually DO to show our love and compassion. And from my experience, our cards are really important at this time. So of all the cards I send, I feel these are the most meaningful. And the Lots
Wow, did you think I had gone missing from the Colour INKspiration Crew, well even the Crew made have thought so too, but I am back creating again and loving it. For this challenge we are using just three colours - Night of Navy, Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist - #CI25. You maybe starting here so welcome to the blog hop or you could have come from Tanya Bell. I am featuring one of my very favourite Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, Lots of Lavender and I lost count how many times I stamp it in Night of Navy and then used the Stampin' Blends in the light shade of Night of Navy for the flowers and the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Marker for the stems and leaves. I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock a little smaller than the base of Thick Whisper White and draw a border around with the thick end of my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Marker, then layered upon layered the flowers and leaves and finished with a cute sentiment and a scattering of Lemon Lime Twist Sequins. Stamp Set: Lots of Lavender, Lots of Happy (only available with the Card Kit) Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White Ink: Night of Navy Accessories: Night of Navy Stampin' Blends, Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Marker, Lemon Lime Twist Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins A close up of all that colouring and fussy cutting. Now it's time to hop over to Kim Badelt and see what she has created with just these three colours. Don't forget to check out the Facebook Group and like the page as this is where you and all our followers share their paper craft projects using the colour combination. I hope to see you there! There is a new Colour Challenge every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), and a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Colour INKspiration Facebook Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.

I have seen cards that look like hanging wisteria and I had to make one! I think my friend Melissa will love this card for her workshop tonight! She loves the color purple so I chose to use the Lots of Lavender stamp set and Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Perfect Plum card stock. Purples and greens are a fabulous pairing. Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Welcome to the second Pootlers Blog Hop of 2018. Today we are showcasing the fabulous Sale-A-Bration products. Spend £45 and you get to choose from so many wonderful free products. I love Lavender so when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to order it. For me the only colour it could be was Wisteria Wonder, in real life it is slightly lighter than the photo is showing. Wisteria Wonder is one of my favourite SU Colours and I love how it looks against a white card base. I used Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the image. Then I used the small triangle stamp from the Picutre Perfect Birthday stamp set, stamped off once to create a background. I cut the image using the layer oval framelits and sponged the edges with Wisteria Wonder. The ribbon is the brand new White Organza ribbon. You can never have too many thank you cards and I just love this Thank you sentiment from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I heat embossed this using white embossing powder. Don't forget to continue hopping around the blog to see the other fabulous creations my fellow Pootlers have created, you will find lots of inspiration - just click on the names below. Thank you for stopping by this week and reading my blog, I do hope you’ve enjoyed it. Until next week. Jillian xx

Got the chance to play with my Sale-A-Bration freebie, Lots of Lavender, for the first time this week. I was delighted to see it's super easy to line up, thanks to the clear photopolymer stamp style. I made quite a few variations, all using the same 2.5 x 4 inch main image piece with a 2.75 x 4.25 inch mat. I feel like the washi tape just really brightened these up and took them past ordinary. It lent another shade of pinks and purples to a card that already had a lot of different tones. I tried three different tapes...
