Maybe it’s a slight anxiety about exiting lockdown as the restrictions lift or maybe I’ve just forgot what ‘normal’ is! OR maybe I don’t want the normal that once was back... 🤷🏻♀️ After 4 months of it all, how do you feel? If you could choose... 1. What would you like to leave behind in lockdown? 2. What would you like to keep from lockdown, and adopt as your new normal? . . . . . 📸@gabalca".

Kettlebells, the exercise weights once described as “a cannonball crossed with a handbag” by The New York Times, are proving to be the essential fitness accessory of lockdown 2. But if you haven’t already got yours, it may be too late. What GQ magazine declared “The Great Kettlebell Shortage of 2020” in April has escalated. They are now sold out almost everywhere. In Amazon search rankings the term “kettlebells” recently soared by 2,500 places, while John Lewis reports sales increasing by 292

Here we go again... Fun times ahoy for the good ship CMV! Please read below for an update on the shop during this second lockdown... In summary... WE ARE CLOSED FOR VISITS BUT STILL TRADING! Please stay safe, love each other and stay in touch if you need a chat. Big Love, Becky, Andy & Stevie Dog. xxx Is the shop open for collection? We are operating a 'collect in store/click and collect' service. We have some glitches to sort out on the website but at checkout you can select 'collect in store'. This is free. As the shop is closed to the public, please wait til you hear from us with a notification to say your order is ready. As a rough guide we will aim for the following service: If you order before 10am on a working day (Monday-Saturday) We will aim to get your order ready for collection the same day between 12-2. If you order post 10am your order will be ready for collection between 12-2 the following day. If you would prefer to pay in store for your order please call us and we can arrange a time for you to collect and pay for your order. We will not be able to allow you into the shop but will bring a payment terminal to the door along with your order. Please do not drop by without an allotted slot. Please call 0113 2442704 if you have any queries as we can be flexible. Are you going to be at the shop working? Yes. We will aim to be at the shop between 10-4 every day for enquiries, web orders etc so you are welcome to call us on 0113 2442704 for enquiries. Please do not drop by the shop without an allotted collection slot. Are you still posting out web orders? Yes. We are ON IT! We will continue to post orders Mon-Sat. As a general rule we are aiming to get your order packed and posted within 24 hours if received on a working day. So orders placed on Monday during the working day would be posted no later than Tuesday. Orders placed on Sundays would be posted no later than Tuesday etc. We need your custom to ensure we are still here when all this is over but we are also very aware that many of you will be experiencing financial worries yourself so please don't worry if you can't order! We love you just the same. We are tightening our belts considerably so we get it. If we do make it through this as a business come and see us for sherry and treat yourself to a mag then. Will my order get to me in good time. Our advice here is a bit different to last time. We did experience delays of up to a week on orders during lockdown 1 and we expect to see some considerable delays this time due to Xmas being basically online this year! We are encouraging you to order WELL ahead of the usual postal deadlines for a number of reasons. We expect to find it difficult to get some items back in stock as we head toward Xmas. We are dependent on a network that at the moment is under some strain but the advice is still that it is in good shape. If you don't receive your web order within the Royal Mail guidelines please be patient but do let us know if it has been a while and we will investigate. Will you still be getting new titles/magazines etc? We are working on existing stocks right now and in theory, we will still be getting stocks if our distributors are able to ship out. However, we are anticipating a drop off in stocks and we will try to adapt to fit that but to be honest we have no idea at the moment. Keep checking back for your favourite title and be assured we will be getting all new stocks on asap. I am looking for a specific magazine/book but I can't see it on your site. If you are after something specific please holla. We have access to LOADS of books and magazines we don't hold stock of and it may be possible to get something in for you. Don't worry if it doesn't fit the 'art & design' brief either. We have always been able to order in all sorts of titles for customers specifically so don't be shy if you want something you can't find on our site. Can you post out a gift to a friend for me?Yes, We have good stocks of cards too so if you add a card to your order and make a note at checkout we can write your message out for you and post it to your chosen address. We do not include receipts in any of our parcels either. Can I use my old paper voucher online? Yes. If you have a voucher simply email us. We can access your account and issue you with an online code so you can order online. We are going to make digital vouchers available online too soon. I want to support you but I don't want to buy anything, How can I do this? You can help us in a couple of ways. Firstly we have set up a Ko-Fi account which means you can either buy us a virtual coffee or you can set up a direct debit for a set amount each month. You could also consider buying a voucher to spend in-store when this has all blown over. If you want to do this and collect it later from the shop just select 'collect in store'
