This key fob/wristlet is great because it makes it easier to find your keys in your bag as well is handy when you are carrying a bunch of things and have your hands full but you want your keys out. I measure out 11" before assembling the wristlet, which is a little bigger than the standard. It measures about 5 1/2" long after assembling. Key fob is washable, please do so in cold water and hang to dry. I make my key fobs very sturdy. I'm very rough with my own things so I make things with the idea if I can destroy it. This wood alpaca, vicuna, or llama key chain is based on a pattern by Steve Good. I hand cut my key chains (not laser cut) on a scroll saw. I cut the interior image first from 1/8 inch thick wood, then glue the front wood to a 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick backing wood. Next, I cut the oval, shape and sand, and seal the wood. When dry, I fill the image with clear casting epoxy resin mixed with various colorants. After the epoxy is cured, I sand it flush with the wood and finish with a gel wipe on urethane. The front of the key chain is maple and the back is cherry. I filled it with clear casting epoxy resin which allows the backing wood to show in the image yet provides a smooth surface which protects the delicate fretwork. I attached a 4 inch long ball chain and a 32 mm split ring to securely hold your keys. The size of the oval is 1 3/8 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide.
