In the era of 2023, where social media often overwhelms us with micro trends (especially on TikTok), the 2000s cottagecore aesthetic re-emerges like a soothing balm for tired eyes. I mean, imagine a life enveloped by the calming embrace of nature, with mornings spent in sunshine and your very own garden at the back of your house far away from the bustle of the city.
This Turkish appetizer is sweet and creamy - just right for a dinner party or afternoon tea. Start it the night before to soften up the apricots. There are three options for the stuffing, kaymak is the most traditional, while marscapone makes a great substitute. Some use strained Greek yogurt called labneh for this job (regular Greek yogurt will be too runny) - consider sweetening it with a little honey if you want to cut the tart flavor a bit.

Check out this printable brain teaser game with the answers that you an play at your Divergent party or anytime you need a little brain stretch. Ever since I had our Divergent dinner party and posted all the fun games that we played, the Hidden Meaning Brain Teaser game for Erudite has been a popular printable. I've gotten so many requests for more brain teaser printable games. Today, I'm sharing a new one that I made while being laid up on bed rest this month. I know my boys love these because of the fun challenge the word games create. You can have fun and challenge your brain at the same time. To save this game printable, click on the brain teaser below and it will open in a new window on your computer. Then right click to save the picture file to your computer. This should allow you to be able to go in and use your computer's print program to print it. If you'd rather have it as a PDF file, you can find that brain teaser printable game here. To play the game, hand every guest a copy of the Hidden Meaning Brain Teaser and a pen or pencil. They must decipher the meaning of the words and pictures in each square. For example, in the first square, you have the word "PERSONALITY" with a break in between the word. The picture stands for "Split Personality". And since what good is a brain teaser if you don't have the answers, here are the brain teaser answers to the word game above If you want more, be sure to check out the original Brain Teaser game here.

Recipe by Paula. I love the simplicity of Portuguese desserts. These little cakes have a lovely orange flavour and are so moist and delicate. They are perfect for an afternoon tea, wedding or baby shower. These little cakes are easy to make and be sure to make lots, they won't last long. Enjoy! Makes 24 Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt grated zest of 2 oranges 4 eggs 1 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup fresh orange juice 1 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla Sanding sugar Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 2 muffin pans. 2. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and orange zest. 3. In a separate bowl combine eggs and sugar and beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes or until the eggs are pale yellow and fall in ribbons. Stir in orange juice, butter and vanilla until well combined. 4. Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. The mixture will froth a little. Pour the batter into the muffin cups filling them 3/4 of the way up. 5. Bake for 13-14 minutes or until the edges start to brown. Sprinkle the top of each cake with some sanding sugar and return pans to the oven. Turn the oven off and leave them in there for 2 minutes. 6. Allow the pans to cool 5 minutes then run a knife around the edge of each cake and gently unmold. Let the cakes cool completely.
