We are happy to share a music video ‘Nine Lindens’ where nine non-professional singers perform a Lithuanian multipart polyphonic folk song. A founder of a startup, a teacher, an artist, a physicist and other women of different professions, ethnical backgrounds, religious beliefs and experiences came together for this project. A rustic Lithuanian village wedding celebrating old traditions and a simpler way of life. A vintage wedding dress and a 4 hour horse and cart journey!
Beautiful vintage book for children - just a short Lithuanian folk song. Amazing illustrations by Laima Barisaite. L. Barisaitė created realistic, somewhat stylized drawings, she liked to mix techniques, she used gouache, pastel, watercolor in her drawings, she liked brightly colored illustrations that combine into one decorative picture. The artist's character is multi-layered: she can stylize the image, but in many places the features of realistic depiction remain. Humanized animals stand out. Printed in 1977. Paperbacks. 16 pages. Size: 16.5 x 26 cm / 6.49" x 10.23" Good vintage condition, considering that it is almost half a century old. Small defects - naturally yellowed pages, rubbed corners and edges of the cover, small tears, several small reinforcements with adhesive tape. SOLD AS SEEN IN PHOTOS All items are of vintage quality and show some signs of age. The saturation of the colors might vary slightly from your computer screen to the item itself.
