About the “Will’s Quill” Project After students learn about William Shakespeare, they’ll have the chance to modify a regular writing utensil like a pen or pencil into “Will’s Quill.” First, they’ll conduct quick research on Shakespeare as they add 3 new facts to the quill shape. They’ll also copy a quote from Shakespeare that they like on their quill shape. Next, they’ll cut out the shape and use it to modify a pen or pencil. This craft is a great way to extend and connect their learning to Shakespeare. Both resources require students to be creative while learning.
