South African cast members of the Las Vegas productiono of 'The Lion Kin'g attended the unveiling of the iconic Rafiki wax figure at Mandalay Bay and Madame Tussaud's in Las Vegas. Amongst the attendees were Buyi Zama who plays Rafiki in the Las Vegas production, Rosita Chapman of Madame Tussauds and Lynn Holt, VP of Marketing at Manday Bay.

Have a Lion King or Lion Guard birthday party and send everyone home with his or her own mask as a party favor. Kids can put on their own Lion King show. Great for a play date. If your child loves animals, they will love playing with these easy to make masks. These are HAND DRAWN not computer drafted patterns to make masks designed for children's pretend play. If you can use a pair of scissors and an iron then you can make these. The only sewing needed is to sew the elastic on to the mask. NOTE: I use freezer paper to print my patterns. Freezer paper is available as a roll in grocery stores and can be cut it to 8 1/2" x 11 sheet to print on or you can purchase precut sheets. The children's school are performing The Lion King this year for the school production and when the school asked if I could make and design some headdresses for the lions, I was overwhelmed but excited.
