This is a new in sealed box model of Old Ironsides, the USS Constitution, by the Lindberg Line Model Kits and is made in the USA using vintage molds. Hull, masts, yardarms, stand with nameplate. Photo of model on box shows what it can look like when painted and detailed. Though this is a plastic model, my father often said that plastic models offer more intricate details and this model is no exception based of the photos of the finished model on the box. The last photo shows the actual completed model ready for rigging. This kit does not supply rigging thread, but black and brown thread is all you need. Black thread for the standing rigging and brown thread for the running rigging. You will also need glue and paint. I prefer using paint pens as they are not messy and afford nice detailed painting. Finished model is 7" in length and includes a display stand with nameplate. Buyer will pay 1 pound shipping. Immediate shipping after receipt of payment. Enjoy! Note: I ship in boxes for security and safety. As a buyer myself, I am amazed how some sellers will ship in those thin gray/silver bags to save money, even with fragile items. When I do have items that are light and not fragile I will use padded envelopes. For all other items, I use boxes with insurance at no additional cost. For very fragile items, I will ship a box within a box. This extra mail order safety protocol is included in the shipping quote. Tracking is included with everything I sell.Final note: When I started Etsy, it was understood that everything was either hand made or in the case of collectibles, handled, inspected, and shipped by our small cottage business. Nowadays, "drop shipping" has emerged where sellers don't handle their items let alone inspect them and take charge of prompt shipping. Rumson Nautical and Collectibles will never drop ship sight unseen, or deal with third party shippers.
