Sometimes I get asked to do some special builds and I’m always interested in the opportunity for that when it arises. One of them was for a 6G16 brown Vibroverb amp and since the customer had a blackface chassis already he wanted to use it for the build. No problem with using the chassis and I did have fun doing a new circuit board from scratch for the build with the end result being I also have a template for the next should one come along. So the customer ended up with a custom amp built to his specifications that also sounded great.
