While creating these table lamps we sometimes felt lost. How was the theory we were using, and sometimes ignoring, going to help us? Is The Color Star developed by Johannes Itten a hindrance or a blessing? The short answer is both and the results are stunning. We ascribed color based on theory onto shapes found in our studio and created table lamps in combinations that are vibrant and rich. According To... Table Lamps are emotional and aspirational; subject to the whim of color theory and the desire to reach perfect harmony. Bright, sunny, light palette. Combination of warm and cold shades is a gift from nature itself. That is why this color gamma looks very fresh and natural, Lemon, mustard harmoniously join shades of light blue and grey-blue. This color gamma can be used to decorate kitchen, living-room, and bathroom. It will also look wonderful in interior of a house on seashore.

Oil and water are the perfect experiment for kids! It's so pretty it's almost mesmerizing so we decided to try this process on the light table. This post contains affiliate links. We filled a glass pie plate with baby oil. It smells great but if you have younger children you might want to try a vegetable oil. We colored water with neon food coloring and added eye droppers to work on fine motor skills. The invitation was set up on paper towels on our Alex Prism Light Center. The kids slowly dropped the colored water onto the oil to see what would happen. The colors are so pretty above the light! Light table play can be so soothing. A dark room, a quiet activity, and two kids taking turns makes for the perfect calming experience. Our daughter tried to make a flower. The colors of water would swirl and mix together when they touched. I've already promised the kids that we'll try this pretty science experiment again soon! It is sure to be a favorite for everyone.
