Hi everyone! We've been enjoying the gorgeous spring weather that we've been having here. I think my kids would stay outside all day if they could! Is it getting warmer in your area? It's the final day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and my card today features the Build-A-House Spring Add-On die set! I started by creating the house with the Build-A-House dies and white shimmer cardstock. The roof and porch roof were added with pink dotted cardstock. The windows and doors were cut with light pink shimmer cardstock and have a light yellow cardstock behind each of them. It's so cute that the windows open up in the spring add-on set! I also really like the little flower box for the windows! After assembling the house, I started to work on the background. I used a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut it with the Stitched Cloud Backdrop die and then ink blended it with distress oxide inks. I attached the cloudy sky to a white card base. Then, I added the hillside cut with the Simple Stitched Hillside Border and also ink blended with distress oxide inks. Using double sided tape, I added the hillside to the card. Next, I started creating the rest of the scene by die cutting the fence from white cardstock, and the trees from the Stitched Tree Border with textured dot cardstock. I attached the fence with foam tape and glued the trees in place behind the hillside. My favorite part that I added was the mailbox that is included in the spring add-on set - how fun! Once the house and background was assembled, I added a girl from the Tiny Friends set to the upstairs window to wave to her friends below. It looks like her friends came over to play! I also added a speech bubble from the A Birdie Told Me set to finish the card. This is such a fun add-on die for spring, and it helps to create some of the cutest houses. Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you all have a great day! :) Supplies: Below is a list of supplies used for my project. Affiliate links are provided at no extra cost to you. BOO! Did I scare you?! Lolz. Today I'm sharing a fabooooolous Halloween Card! It's a little shabby haunted house at 31 Spooky Lane! I'm so excited to share this one! I realize as I'm typing this post that it's very similar to my last post with the beach house... Similar, but very different! This time it's dark and moody, and instead of crabbies, we have some ghosties hanging out in their house. I do really love making this kind of card! You can totally customize the little houses to be whatever you want them to be! Some of you might...

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the inspiration this week for the Lawn Fawn Release Week. Inspiration continues today with a look at the Build-A-House die! This die is so fun! And this house die would be fun to use for shaped cards, too! For my cards today, I used a variety of Lawn Fawn cardstocks to create two new home cards. I created two similar houses and placed them in different scenes. For the first card, I used the Birch Tree and Simple Grassy Hillsides die to create the scene. I also used the Scripty Congrats die for the sentiment, along with the Extra Sentiment Banner die and Happy Village stamp set. The second card features the same house in a different color, but in a different background scene as well. For this card, I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop, Little Picket Fence Border, and Leafy Tree Backdrop die. I also have another card to share with you that features the new Tiny Halloween stamp set. This set is sized to perfectly fit inside the upstairs window of the house die, but it can also be used on it's own. I used the Bannertastic stamp set and Riley's ABCs to create a custom sentiment. The background is lightly ink blended with purple ink in the middle and then splattered with black and orange ink for some extra details. I added the sentiment, and then added the images from the Tiny Halloween set around the banner. The speech bubbles are from the Hay There and Be Hap-pea stamp sets. Here's a closer look at this fa-boo-lous card: I hope you like the cards! Thanks so much for visiting and make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration! :)
