Ah brothy beans, one of my easiest, most nutritious, and definitely most delicious and versatile recipes. I just love it so much. And if you aren't making your own dried beans yet, let me tell you, it is SO worth it. Bean broth is so flavorful and delicious (with the heaps of oregano I call this recipe "pizza beans"), and you can use these beans in many ways throughout the week. It makes a ton of food, but is so affordable, so you'll see me making a pot of brothy beans at least once every few weeks.

This knitting pattern is to make a Campervan Cushion Cover approximately 40cm/16" square. I've made the original in Wendy Serenity Super Chunky yarn (3 x 100g balls, 1 chalk, 1 jet and 1 colour of your choice for the body) which is knitted to a tension of 10 sts and 12 rows to 10cm/4 inches. Of course you can use any yarn you like as long as the tension is correct! I used 9mm needles (UK00, US 13). To finish the cushion you'll also need a 40cm/16" cushion pad, a 31cm/12" zip and oddments of yarn in red and orange for the indicators. I've used Swiss Darning for the headlamps and rear lights then added further details in back stitch and chain stitch. The cover itself is knitted in stocking stitch (one row knit, one row purl) and the blocks of colour worked using the intarsia technique (plenty of YouTube videos on this!). *** PLEASE NOTE that on purchasing your pattern you will be sent an order acknowledgement from Slightly Sheepish which will contain a link to enable you to download your pattern as a PDF document. Please check your spam/junk mail as sometimes they end up in there and if you still don't get your acknowledgement, please contact us.*** Have fun, happy knitting!
