'Dilly Dilly' Lavender is a spherical shrub packed with highly fragrant violet-blue flower spikes. A great choice for cut flowers and crafts, its round shape adds an interesting element to perennial beds and walkway borders. A hardy, easy to grow variety, 'Dilly Dilly' tolerates heat, drought, and poor, dry soils. Attracts pollinators and repels deer. (Lavandula x intermedia)

Meet the Easy Waves. Carried on plants with a habit both mounding and spreading, they create a big impression in containers, baskets, and mixed bowls. For uniform blooms that continue all season, gorgeous flowers that catch the eye from across the patio, and carefree growth, rely on Easy Wave® Lavender Sky Blue Petunia Seeds. Like all the Easy Waves®, Easy Wave® Lavender Sky Blue Petunia sets new blooms from the center as well as the ends of each stem, keeping the plant looking fresh and newly-opened month after month. Reaching just 6 to 12 inches high (depending upon how you choose to grow it) but prepared to spread up to 39 inches wide, this is a nonstop beauty for any sunny setting. Petunia Wave® has taken the gardening world by storm since its introduction a few years ago. Its spreading habit is just stunning, covering ground at the rate of several inches every single day, and trailing lots of big, colorful blooms as it goes. Easy Wave® Lavender Sky Blue Petunia doesn't reach quite as far as the older Waves, but it stands up "taller," offering a more manageable and attractive shape for hanging baskets, window boxes, and flowerpots of all kinds.

When our daughters were teenagers, we decided it was time to take a trip to merry old England, the setting of so many of my historical romances. While we were there, we stopped by the windswept hills that boast one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks: Stonehenge. Wow, was it cold that day (we lived... Read More
