Skorzystałam z pięknej pogody i jesiennych skarbów i ukręciłam dwa wieńce. W pierwszym przypadku wykorzystałam bezczelnie stary wyschnięty już wianek z pędów trzmieliny, ale najczęściej kręcę podstawę wianków z witek wierzby płaczącej ( szczęśliwie rośnie w ogródku). W roli dodatków wystąpiły: wrzosy, jarzębina, pędy bluszczu i rajskie jabłuszka. Do drugiego wieńca dodałam kwiatostany hortensji pnącej. Do takiej zabawy używam drutów florystycznych. Grubszych ( 1mm) do podstawy wianka oraz cieńszych ( 0,5) do dodawania elementów. Wieniec powyżej wisi już na moich drzwiach wejściowych. A tak wygląda drugi wieniec z kwiatostanami hortensji. Wkrótce zaschną, zbrązowieją i nie będą już tak atrakcyjne jak zielone, ale nadal są ciekawym wypełniaczem. Poniżej wianki wykonane kilka lat temu: z rajskich jabłuszek oraz jarzębiny. Naprawdę długo trzymały fason i wciąż cieszyły oczy kiedy w koło zrobiło się szaro i zimowo.

"Live Oak" is another print I have created with the view of looking up into the canopy. This lovely Live Oak happens to be in my front yard. I am amazed by its might daily. I'm trying to capture the small feeling you have when right under these giants. This is a reduction print. After the image is transferred to a linoleum block, the same block is carved away, more and more, printing colors in between, until the image is complete. This destroys the block.
