This piece of art was done by me. I did the calligraphy for the quote right after my first class in calligraphy just ended. I drew (in pencil) the gnome, bee, and mushroom pair directly from the book Gnome books from the 70's. Then I painted the three drawings using watercolor paint. The quote was directly taken from the book as well. I adore this piece of art and it was certainly hard to part with...but alas, it was a creation for someone else :)
