**Pattern Details and Suggested Materials** Boomerang/asymmetric triangle shape - like Albuquerque Sunset. 15" deep by 78" at neck edge Intermediate beginner and no brioche 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn - A and B don't really matter but this is what I did: **Color A (solid) - 400 yards Color B (variegated) - 400 yards** 10% wiggle room is built into my patterns for yardage so that is up to you if you are going to use less than 400 yards. If you add 4 of my designs to your cart, the least expensive one will be free ~ enjoy! In Tilted Texture, simple textures come together to create an elegant and reversible shawl. This piece begins with just two stitches and gradually grows into a right triangle. As you knit, you encounter one textured stitch pattern after another. The variety keeps the project interesting, and the stitch patterns are simple, perfect for social or travel knitting. When Tilted Texture is worn, its lines are tilted on the diagonal, creating a lovely eye-catching effect (and making it look more complicated than it really is). Although the pattern is written for fingering-weight yarn, sport or even dk-weight yarn on larger needles would be beautiful, too. Just allow yourself extra yardage and expect your shawl to be larger in size. So choose a pretty solid or semi-solid yarn that will show off the variety of textures, and enjoy watching this stylish shawl emerge beneath your fingertips! A little something extra: When you purchase this pattern, you will also have access to a bonus version, Striped Tilted Texture. This version of the pattern combines three beautiful colors to really make the different sections pop. (But please note that only the solid version is perfectly reversible.) Striped Tilted Texture is shown here in Expression Fiber Arts Crema Sock in the Resolute Hues set of three 350 yd/320 m skeins. Blocked dimensions: 62”/157 cm wingspan 26”/66 cm depth Yarn requirements: 640 yds/585 m solid or semi-solid fingering-weight yarn, such as Cloudborn Superwash Merino Fingering (shown in the Charcoal Heather colorway) or Woolfolk Sno (shown in the 01/02 colorway, a pale gray) Fully written instructions are provided, along with two optional charts. Knitting is a method by which thread or yarn is used to create a cloth. Knitted fabric consists of several consecutive rows of loops, called stitches. As each row progresses, a new loop is pulled through an existing loop. The active stitches are held on a needle until another loop…

Description A totally yummy neckwarmer in several sizes (S/M/L) with an allover texture reminiscent of rare white thistle flowers. The highly embossed stitchwork provides strong depth and stability, even in the softest of yarns. While somewhat complex to work, the result is totally worth the effort and the circular format allows the knitter to focus on the pattern. Meant to have a closer fit for cuddly warmth, this accessory will be gorgeous in a soft luxury blend (hmm, maybe that trophy skein you’ve been hoarding?), but it translates nicely as well in a more rustic wool or heavier weight yarn (with needle adjustments) This pattern uses a dipstitch. See a video tutorial of this stitch here . Matching Motif: Whitethistle Scarf Sample is knit in Elemental Affects Cormo Lace , color Purity Suggested Yarns: Bare Naked Wools Fresh Lace , Modern Deco Lace , Yak/Silk Lace , Elemental Affects Cormo Lace , Kent Lace , or any heavy lace/light fingering yarn that knits to pattern gauge. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, or yardage requirement.
