12 x 34 1/16 inches - Handmade in Canada - I designed and built this original stained glass window panel using the traditional, lead came technique and high quality stained glass. It is strong and durable and will last many decades. It has a sturdy zinc, border came with hooks on both sides so that it can hang horizontally or vertically or it can be installed into your wall and used as a real window pane. If this is for outdoor use, or if you want the hooks removed, please let me know.

These are really enchanting and delicate beads hailing from the Dogon Tribe in Mali. Called "Dutch Donuts" because of their donut-like shape, and because they formed in a style of Dutch beads that were traded into Africa. They are made of glass that was wrapped around a mandrel and formed into this round shape. These beads are wound glass, so on some beads you can feel where the thread of glass started or ended. Some of them do have slight pits or markings on their surface, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the beads. The hole takes up most of the bead, so they are great for using on cords, or as slider beads. This listing is for 10 loose beads in a lovely shade of pistachio green. These beads have a beautiful glossy finish to them. Beads measure approximately 1/2". These beads have large holes that take up most of the diameter of the bead (hence the name "donut". The hole measures approximately 8mm. **As many of my products come from Nepal, a portion of my proceeds will be donated to the Unicef and Americares Nepali relief efforts. ** All content (which includes all text, photography, product names, product descriptions) is All rights reserved - Woman Shops World, Inc. Part of the artist's signature "Retro Mesh" series, this prismatic composition of glass reflects a rainbow of color on your wall. The artist creates the piece by fusing together a vibrant array of glass tiles in a kiln. Hanging hardware is included. Each is unique; color and pattern will vary. Sculpture can also be displayed on a tabletop.

Circle Study Geometric --12" x 28" This panel has a playful Arts and Crafts design feel and includes a variety of clear textured glass mixed with bevels in an interesting interaction of circles, lines, and arcs. It is a wonderful privacy screen to let in the light and block the view through a window. The panel measures 12" x 28". It has a zinc frame surrounding the piece for stability and hanging rings on all four corners so it may be hung in any of four directions. Please allow 6-8 weeks for construction and shipping. This panel would make a great wedding gift, or a gift for another occasion! It has a black patina on the lead and frame so as to bring out the striking colors of the glass. The panel has been signed and dated by me. I provide two lengths of 12" chain, so it is ready to hang when your receive it. Stained glass panels can last years and years with good care. Cleaning them from time to time with mild soap and water, and polishing them with a soft rag and a toothbrush to get into the hard to reach spots works well. I package all of my panels in plenty of honeycomb cardboard, and then a double layered cardboard box so that it arrives safely at your home. Shipping insurance is included in the shipping costs. Please feel free to contact me for custom requests, partner panels, and idea suggestions. Thanks for looking at my work! See more of my work on my Face-book page entitled Design Arts & Crafts

Buttery yellow vintage tribal African glass disc beads. Very popular this season with all of the tribal and african fashion trends! These beads have even been sold at Anthropologie and other trendy stores (see last picture, from the Anthropologie catalog). This listing is for 1 strand, in a beautiful buttery yellow. The strand is strung in a loop, they way they are traditionally strung in Africa, approximately 29" long (24" of beads with 5" of twisted twine at the top). Beads measure approximately 9x2mm with about a 2mm, hole. Approximately 260 beads per strand. These beads are old; they date back as early as the early 1900's and originated from Europe. They do show some dirt and minor chips on some of the edges, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age.
