Porthcurno north Cornwall . I have shot a number of images recently around Cornwall for a calendar company for 2014 . I was asked to shot them in the middle of the day , something I am not used to doing as i normally go for the low light moody type of image around the golden hour , i have never seen some of these places at this time of day and they look stunning and i relies now what i have been missing . Now I have taken a few i am wondering why landscape photographers including me all ways shoot the same stereo typical sun rise sun set shots and view with distain images shot in full sunlight , is it because we are brain washed in to thinking that only low light shots are worthy of raising our camera to , all most becoming photographic snobs in the process . I have changed my view on this issue and shall shoot a mixture of images taken at all times of the day in full colour and black & white , i can,t see the point of getting boxed in a little corner and imposing limitations on our selfs , after all a good shot is a good shot know matter what the time of day in was taken . I would be very interested to hear some of your thoughts on this issue . My Web Site . www.raymondbradshawphotography.co.uk/

On the Nikon Workshop I attended over the last few days, Adam Burton, one of the tutors, suggested I try this location, which faces south and was a bit more sheltered from the wind. The light was amazing and I managed to get this shot which I think is my favourite from the workshop.
