A friend at church gave Adam two window frames. Adam will use the one with the large, single pane to make a solar wax melter for his honey bee wax. The other window frame, however, he does not need. So I began thinking of all the fun decorative plans I could construct, involving that six-paned window .... Online, I found a website with a multitude of ideas! This one is fairy-like, but probably a bit over-the-top for my dining room: I love this idea of a window frame in mid-air. But I don't have a porch location for it, unfortunately. Isn't this elegant? Paper was put on the back of the loose window frame, and it was hung in the larger window, for privacy. Beautiful. One can do so much with window frames! This seems a bit challenging for my small-brain creativity, but isn't it lovely? For the quilters out there: Oh, to be a maker of stained glass! This crafter cut chips of colored class with her glass-cutter, and glued them onto the old frame in flower designs. I wish! Now this, I could do. I don't know how long the frame would last outside, in the weather. And Adam would have to make the flower box, of course. Hmm. It's charming. A very simple choice. I could so see this above my fireplace. I don't have a mantle at all, so I could use some more structure up there. This option came from this site. I'm leaning this way, except putting scrap-booking paper under various cards I have. I keep correspondence, especially beautiful cards, and sometimes frame them. I could "frame" six cards, with six different paper patterns, each in its own pane. What do you think? I'd have to dig through old cards too, which is fun. I like this idea, because everytime I'd look at the cards, I'd think of my friends. Okay, friends -- your opinions!! I need help! Even if I don't know you and you are a stranger/lurker here, I could really use some advice! New ideas? Opinions on these? Thanks, y'all :)

The Roseville Pottery Company was founded in 1890. Roseville initially produced simple utilitarian ware such as flower pots, stoneware, umbrella stands, cuspidors, and limited painted ware. In 1900, Roseville Rozane became the first high quality art pottery line produced by Roseville. In the early teens as demand for the more expensive, hand-crafted art pottery declined Roseville pottery shifted production to more commercially produced pottery. Roseville's ability to nimbly adapt to market conditions was one of the potteries' greatest attributes as Roseville was continually able to produce the most popular patterns and styles compared to their immediate competitors. Roseville pottery introduced Pinecone in 1935. Pinecone became the most successful and highest volume pattern produced during the existence of Roseville pottery. The pattern includes over 75 different shapes in blue, brown, and green. World War II necessitated another production change for Roseville pottery. During this time period, Roseville introduced such patterns as Fuchsia, Cosmos, Columbine, White Rose, Bittersweet, and Zephyr Lily. While these patterns were still the best quality art pottery in the market at this time, it was not enough to save the company. Roseville Pottery ceased operations in 1954. Throughout Roseville's days of production, its versatility and innovativeness served to keep the company at the forefront of the various decorating styles and buying public trends. Even to this day, Roseville pottery still represents the most widely known and most collectible art pottery ever produced. I've included a complete list with photos of all their art pottery lines. The Southern Comfort Girl Watchers’ Drink Guide Just another one of those things I found when cleaning my studio.
The most interesting thing about this whole kerfuffle is that it shouldn't be controversial at all. What has been found, even if authentic, is not a marriage certificate with Jesus' and Mary Magdalene's signatures. It is, rather, an account from 300+ years later that may be asserting Jesus had a wife. We're left with the question, What if? And my answer is, Fine by me. Fine either way. If it is true, I like things that humanize Jesus more. And bonus points for shattering the insistence of the Catholic hierarchy that the reason there can't be married or female priests is that they're modeling Jesus' own actions. But I also don't need it to be true and I don't see it as an invitation to mock or poke at Christians that find it impossible to accept as even a possibility.
