I started by stamping her in Memento Tuxedo Black and then I colored her with Copics. I made the Scallop Rolled Flowers out of MME Love Me patterned paper and attached them to the card with large glue dots. I stamped the sentiment 3 different times while inking up only part of it each time and then sewed the flags to the image panel. Next up is Plane Amazing: For this cutie, I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black on white cardstock and then again on a sheet of MME Kraft Funday Everyday Fun paper and paper pieced the jumpsuit and goggles. I added some shading in Copic marker on the jumpsuit and then used a glaze pen on the goggles. I stamped the sentiment on the File Tab Die-namics die cut and then added a black gingham ribbon, which I wrapped around the card twice and tied the bow. Hello again! The day has finally arrived for you to get your inky hands on the brand new August Release products! But before you go shopping, I have one more project to share with you! It features the new Hop, Flip & A Jump Stamp Set and the coordinating dies! I used the giraffe and trampoline from the new Hop, Flip & A Jump Stamp Set and made them into an interactive card! When you turn the scalloped wheel on the bottom edge of the card, the giraffe looks like he's jumping in the air! I made a quick little .gif for you to see it in action. With every right rotation of the scalloped wheel, the giraffe moves off the trampoline and then back down again! It's super fun to watch, and even more fun to make! Hi there and welcome to the MFT August Release New Product Launch! :) I have a fun, interactive project to share with you today featuring the adorable Hop, Flip and a Jump stamp set and Die-namics along with the awesome Interactive Up & Down Die-namics.

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It's week 56 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC56! For my card this week I decided to use the SUPER sweet Pure Innocence Jump For Joy. Isn't she a sweetie? She is colored with Copic Markers and I paper pieced her dress with one of the patterns I used on my card, which are from Sidewalks by October Afternoon. I fussy cut her out and popped her up with Foam Tape on top of a panel cut with the Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-Namics (the larger of the two dies). The sentiment, "Jump For You" was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics and tucked under her. I added some Pink Sorbet Twine for her jump rope along with a big piece of Twill Ribbon for the horizontal panel. Some more twine was wrapped around the twill as well. I added silver brads to each corner. Here is a closeup of her twine jump rope. It makes me smile. On the inside I added more patterned paper, a border cut with the Little Open Scallop Strip Border Die-Namics, and the sentiment, "You Make My Heart Skip A Beat", was framed with the Sweet Stack Labels Die-Namics. I love these Die-Namics! Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card: We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Hi Crafty Friends, Today I have a fun interactive card to share with you. I love interactive cards and I am loving the new interactive dies that MFT has been releasing lately inspired by the wonderful interactive cards by Laura Dovalo. If you haven't already check out her YouTube channels as her interactive cards are amazing. Here is a quick video to see my card in action. For my card today I used the new Interactive Up & Down Die-namics along with the Hop, Flip & Jump stamp set. For the background of my card I used blender brushes and Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky. I then used white pigment ink and MFT Stamps Mini Cloud stencil to add clouds. Along the bottom of my card I used a grass border die. When you pull the tab on the bottom right hand side of the card the lion and hippo both move up and down. The Giraffe in the centre of the card hides the brad that holds the interactive mechanism that creates the movement. For the inside of my card I added another grass border along the bottom of my card. I added the smaller trampoline and two more of the characters jumping up and down. I also added a birthday sentiment which is included in the stamp set. Supplies: For your shopping convenience, all products are linked below. I painted Jump For Joy with the intention to speak not only through the image but the color that breathed life into it. This was the first painting I did in this series since becoming sober in 2007 so I was definitely filled with a new life that I prayed others would see through the painting. Today I’m 17 years sober and there are still some people finding joy in my gift of art and for that I’m truly blessed.
