This is a one page handout for elementary students grades K-5th. I used this for a class I taught called "Modern & Contemporary Creators." This handout includes: the artist's subscribed movement, a photo of the artist, the year of his birth, a map of their birthplace, a short biography or why they are significant, fine art exemplars, list of supplies needed for the art projects, step-by-step directions for one project with illustrations and/or photos. This handout is for the artist Jeff Koons. The objectives for this lesson is to step-by-step draw balloon dog, then add shade and reflective light. I do add my step-by-step illustrations on this one, however the handout has a QR code link for the video "How to draw a balloon dog" on "Art Hub for Kids" that I used when I taught the lesson. Kids can look at this on their iPads, or you can show it on the whiteboard. Don’t forget to check out my blog for more lessons, slideshows, and a lot free ideas. I'm also on Instagram @NoCornerSuns And, check out No Corner Suns on YouTube for classroom videos that I’m pretty darn proud of.
