This project is appropriate as a first "big" project for an intro to fashion design. Students create a mini "capsule" collection. I present this as tied to a fashion branding project (available to download in my TPT store), but you can easily leave that wording out. As a final product, students create design boards with five different garments, meant to communicate a theme. These boards are presented in class (small group or whole class depending on your needs). With this purchase you get: Google slide deck that you can incorporate into your own slideshows (with prompts and directions, a blank learning & success criteria slide, and daily agenda slide) Rough Draft - students choose a theme, a color palette, fabrics, and inspiration images A filled out example of the rough draft that you can show students Capsule collection thumbnail worksheets (3 different versions) An example of the thumbnails with sketched designs and annotations Student instructions/checklist A fabric rendering printable for students to draw the fabrics they have chosen A single-point rubric for holistic grading
