Do you ever go into a store and see an adorable baby blanket that you just know you could knit yourself? This blanket is reminiscent of the Hudson’s Bay and Pottery Barn blankets. If you can knit and purl, it will be an easy and quick baby blanket pattern that can be made with almost any yarn for any width and length. Most rows are knit with a few purled rows here and there. It has an interesting texture and is fun to knit. It’s super squishy and will definitely be a hit with new parents! The pattern can be easily adjusted for bigger or smaller sizes. I like to use Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn because it washes well over and over again, and gets softer and softer. If you want a pattern that is an easy quick knit, this one is fun and easy to knit even while watching TV. This blanket is a great stash buster too! The pattern for the matching hat is on my website at https://www.candylou.com/project/biddeford-baby-blanket/

A new updated in 2021 version! It’s a simple yet elegant slightly cropped raglan pullover designed to complete outfits with high waisted skirts, jeans and go over dresses. Rustic pattern of twisted stitches gives extra texture to central panels on the front and back of the garment. The pullover has a closely fitted raglan sleeve and is worked bottom up in the round. The ribbing on the hem has an interesting twist to it with stockinette panels in the center and ribbing on the sides. You can take a closer look at my samples and discover the design process and tips and tricks in episode 5 of my podcast. Sizes The pattern is written for nine sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) to fit 74 (84, 94, 104, 114) (124, 134, 144, 154) cm // 29 (33, 37, 41, 45) (49, 53, 57, 61) in bust circumference with ca. 10–15 cm (4–5.75 in) of positive ease.
