Hola a todos. Estamos asistiendo a una continua evolución de los juegos en todas sus manifestaciones. Los juegos y deportes recreativos suponen un claro ejemplo de cómo pueden "mutar y fusionarse" varios deportes simultáneamente, a la par que desarrollar una identidad o lógica de juego propia. En esta línea, dentro de los juegos deportivos de cancha dividida, está apareciendo una modalidad muy dinámica y atractiva denominada Pickleball. En origen, el Pickleball podría catalogarse como un híbrido del tenis, del pádel y del bádminton. Por lo tanto, es un deporte de raqueta, de cancha dividida y red, que se puede jugar individualmente o en pareja (dobles). Entre sus particularidades quizás se puedan destacar dos elementos: 1.- La pelota, muy parecida una bola de floorball, la cual le otorga una forma de botar rápida y aumenta el dinamismo del juego. 2.- Algunas normas del juego: 2.1.- Zona de no volea. Espacio de juego donde no se puede dar a la pelota de volea (al aire) 2.2.- Regla del doble bote. Tras un saque, el receptor debe dejar botar una vez la pelota antes de devolver y cuando el sacador recibe la pelota por primera vez debe también dejarla botar. A partir de ahí se juega con el resto de las normas. Como todo juego recreativo, destacamos su versatilidad y capacidad de adaptación a todo tipo de superficies e instalaciones , como se puede apreciar en el vídeo posterior. Por ello lo recomiendo de manera especial en las etapas de educación obligatoria. Como siempre, modificando aquello que sea necesario para que todos podamos jugar y progresar en nuestro juego.
