Who isn't a HUGE FAN of the Sale-a-Bration 'Party Panda' set! I started this card out with two panels of the new 'Petal Passion Designer Series Paper'. After I adhered those two panels down to the left hand side of my Lemon Lime Twist base card ...... I used my 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker' and added some stitch lines around the outer edge of that DSP panel. My sentiment was stamped with Basic Black ink and the new 'Picture Perfect Birthday' set..... And then I stamped the OH SO ADORABLE panda from the 'Party Panda' set. I matted my little party panda (with the help of the 'Layering Circle Framelits') to a Lemon Lime Twist circle and Basic Black scallop circle. All I needed to do was stamp two balloons onto my Lemon Lime Twist base card and draw in a string with my 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker'. For a final detail touch ....... I added several new 'Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes' to the inside of each balloon. So there you have it friends......... A fun little animal card for the Remarkable/InkBig Blog Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the amazing projects prepared for you. This just happens to be the PERFECT Valentine's Day card for my husband. It says everything I want to say to him. I embossed two score lines around the outer edge of my Rich Razzleberry panel. I scored a 1/4" and 1/2" line with my Simply Score Board ........ and that gave me a perfect embossed area around that Rich Razzleberry panel. I grabbed my FREE Sale-a-Bration 'Sweeet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack' and picked out this pretty "I LOVE US" card. All I needed to do was trim that card down to 1/2" x 2-1/2" ...... And then I matted it to a 3/4" x 2-3/4" Whisper White panel. My large scallop circle was created with the help of the 'Layering Circles Framelits' and 'Stitched Shapes Framelits'. The pretty Rich Razzleberry heart image was also a card from the FREE Sale-a-Bration 'Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack'. I just grabbed my 'Paper Snips' and fussy cut out the heart before adhering it to my Whisper White circle. For an added touch of pretty........I stamped my "I Love You" sentiment in the center of the heart. I used the 'Flourishing Phrases' set and some Rich Razzleberry ink. The final touch for my card was adding a pretty bow with the new 'Silver Baker's Twine' to the top of my layered circles ....... And I also added one Rich Razzleberry heart from the 'Brights Enamel Shapes' and two Silver hearts from the 'Metallic Enamel Shapes. Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Bon Voyage Retiring In-Colors Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for April 2018. This month our theme is Bon Voyage Retiring In-Colors. You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Kards by Kadie or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the amazing projects prepared for you. The 2016-2018 In-Color Collection is one that I am SUPER SAD is retiring at the end of May. I used all five In-Colors on each of the five cards I created and mixed up the color combination on each card. I have to say that the end results turned out AMAZING! Each card starts out with a Whisper White base and has several panels of each In-Color added to the front. This is the Emerald Envy card. And each card is topped off with a piece of the 2016-2018 In-Color 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. Here's a closer look at the Sweet Sugarplum card. Each card has a 2-1/4" Whisper White circle that is stamped with the new 'Love What You Do' set. This is a closer look at the Peekaboo Peach card. Of course attention to detail is what all my cards are about......So I added a single 2016-2018 In-Color Glitter Acrylic Shape (heart) to each sentiment circle. This is a closer look at the Flirty Flamingo card. I'm just crazy about the way the banner flag turned out on each of these cards. And here's closer look at the Dapper Denim card. Here are the measurements for each of the In-Color panels: Base Panel (Sweet Sugarplum) - 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" First Panel Layer (Peekaboo Peach) - 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" Banner Flag Layer (Flirty Flamingo) - 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" I'm just thrilled with the way these cards turned out. Hope you can come back tomorrow when I will share with you how I upgraded this collection into a pretty little package. Thanks for taking part in our blog hop today, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends! My blog post for today is 'CASE IT TUESDAY'. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project that I found on the internet ....... And I created a CASE of that project to share with you today. This project was SUPER FUN to create and want to jump right in and share that project with you now. My share for today is this cute little treat box that the very talented Connie Stewart created. This is the perfect little box to tuck some teas into (which is why Connie created it)......Or drop a handful of candies in and SURPRISE that someone special. It is created using a 10-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Pacific Point card stock. You score on the 10-1/2" side at 1/2, 3, 5-1/2 and 8. Score on the 4-1/4" side at 1/2 and 3. Snip up on the long scored end sides to create four flaps. Snip off the two small sections on the end to create a long flap (which you will add Tear n' Tape to) and begin building your box. Fold in the two long flaps and then on the two remaining flaps.......Add some White Glue and secure the bottom of your box. To secure the box closed.......I added two Layering Oval pieces and added a pretty little clip to secure it all closed. Add 2-stands of White Flax Ribbon....... And a 'Flower Faceted Gem....... And this project is done in no time flat!!!! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
I used two prints from the Sweet Soiree DSP on the card. With the ribbon challenge ,I grabbed a fav ribbon right now- 3/8' Berry Burst metallic edge ribbon. It is so soft and beautiful. I used it to break up the two prints and then as a bow for the cute Powder Pink tag. I cut elements from the Sweet Cake framelits dies for the tag. I made a little banner with the Best Wishes sentiment from Cake Soiree set. I finished it off with a rhinestone for bling. I hope you can join the festivities over at festivefridaychallenge.com Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday. I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in both the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level. Here is my Spot Light Sunday card on the TOP.... And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card for today on the BOTTOM.... I have to say ....... This upgrade just makes me HAPPY!!! To start this card ........ I changed up the orientation and used VersaMark and 'Silver Embossing Powder' to create my sentiment. I used the same 'Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper' and cropped out two pop bottles from that DSP with my 'Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies'. Across the bottom section of this card ....... I added a panel of the 'Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper' and matted that piece with a panel of Basic Gray cardstock. And to add a TOUCH OF FUN ....... I wrapped a piece of 'Silver 1/8" Ribbon' across the center of my Designer Series Panel. To finish off that ribbon .... I added a tiny piece of 'Crushed Curry 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon' and tied the Silver Ribbon in a knot. Two GREAT LOOKING cards...... That would be PERFECT to send to someone today!!! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from both the 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and the 2019 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog. This card uses several products from both of those catalogs .......... And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. Let's jump right in with my card share for today.......... I must admit ....... Anything that has Melon Mambo in it ...... Is a hit in my book! I started this card off by stamping my "Just For You" sentiment from the 'Dear Doily' set with black ink directly onto my Melon Mambo panel. After I had my sentiment stamped ..... I used the new 'Subtles Embossing Folder' and gave that Melon Mambo panel a subtle touch of texture. The magic happened when I cut a panel of the 'Garden Impressions 6x6 Designer Series Paper' for the front of my card. Before adhering that panel down ...... I added a piece of the 'Calypso Coral 3/8" Satin Ribbon' around the top of that DSP panel and tied it off into a pretty knot. And that my friends is all it took to create this charming little card. Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2019-2020 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog. This card uses several products from that new catalog ........ And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. Let's jump right in with my card share for today.......... I wanted to create a special Thank You card........And I think I master it with this creation! To start this card off......I began with a Whisper White base card and then added a Basic Black panel to the top. My sentiment was stamped with the 'Bloom & Grow' set ....... And I stamped that onto a large ''Layering Circle Die'. I added three pretty flowers (Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry and the new Terracotta Tile) that were punched out using the new 'Perennial Flower Punch'. And the final touch was sprinkling some 'Gingham Gala Sequins' around the top of my card. Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
More Tutti-fruitti DSP! I layered the apple print on Real Red and then on another piece of the DSP in Lemon Lime Twist. I added that to a piece of Whisper White and finally the Real Red base. The sentiment is from Bubble Over stamped in Real Red and punched out with a 1" circle punch and layered on a 1 3/4" scallop circle. I finished it off with some thick Whisper White twine. A nice thank you card! Hope you have a refreshing day and thanks for stopping by! Windy windyellard.stampinup.net Stamp set: Bubble Over Ink: Real Red Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Tutti-fruitti DSP thick Whisper White twine, 1' circle punch, 1 3/4" scallop circle punch
I wish I had played more with the Tutti-fruitti DSP but sometimes they retire too fast for me. I like having new items but some things seem like they were not around long enough. It really is true when we have the holiday or occasions catalogs. By the time you collect what you want they retire. Before I became a demo 7 yrs ago and started a blog 4 yrs ago, I did not care about what is retired or not. Now I try to use new current items on my blog, things one can go buy right then. I used both sides of the paper for this card. I layered them on a white base and then stamped my sentiment from Barn Door in Real Red on white. I cut that out with my Layering Circle dies along with the Night of Navy scallop circle. I used my stitched circle for the Lemon Lime Twist circle. A little Navy corduroy trim ribbon and some Lemon Lime sequin to finish it off. I like this sketch...hope you can play along over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com Thanks for stopping by! Windy windyellard.stampinup.net Stamp set: Barn Door Ink: Real Red Paper: Tutti-fruitti DSP, Whisper White, Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy Layering Circles framelits dies, Stitched Shapes framelits dies, Night of Navy corduroy trim ribbon, sequin in Lemon Lime Twist
Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends! I spent the day yesterday doing some SERIOUS shopping and playing with my girls! Here's what we ended up doing............... We started out our day by meeting up at Starbucks.......And then took off to do some SERIOUS shopping and had lunch on the West side of town. After lunch ......... We took off to the Kneaded Relief Day Spa for an afternoon of being spoiled. The girls were scheduled for a facial......And I went for a FABULOUS massage. OH MY GOSH........It was like a big slice of HEAVEN!!!! Before he headed home (With Noodles for dinner) .............. We stopped at Twoie's Karate class. Now on to my blog post for today. It's Tag Thursday and I have created a beautiful tag and want to show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY TAG. Let's jump right in with my tag share for today..... This fun tag was created with the 'Christmas Traditions Punch Box'. I started out with adding a panel of 'Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper' on a Basic Black tag. Next.......I created two glimmer tags and positioned those right in the center of my tag. The center of this tag.......I used the 'Christmas Traditions Punch Box' and stamped a fun holly jolly image on the front of my tag. And I topped my tag off with a pretty piece of the 'Very Vanilla and Copper Tea Room Ribbon'; I'm just crazy about the way this tag turned out! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you. This project is SUPER FUN to create and the product is featured in both the 2018 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog and 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' UP! Catalog. Let's jump right in with my project share for today....... This FUN note card portfolio comes together in no time flat. I started out with a 12"x12" piece of 'True Gentleman Designer Series Paper'. With one of the 12" sides at the top of my 'Simply Score', I scored at 1-3/4", 5-3/4", 6-1/4" and 10-1/4". I turned my DSP to the other 12" side and scored at 2-1/2" and 8-1/4". I used the 'Watercolor Words' set to create my center sentiment panel. And wrapped the 'Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon' around my portfolio to secure it closed. This portfolio holds four notecards perfectly. I used the 'True Gentleman Designer Series Paper' along with the 'Ready to Pop' set to create the cards that were tucked inside my portfolio. Here is how the portfolio folds up. All the side pieces tuck inside each panel and requires no adhesive to create. How fun are these two notecards! The 'Ready to Pop' sentiment was punched out and matted to a Chocolate Chip scallop from the 'Layering Circles Framelits'. And I used the 'Tailored Tag Punch' to position each of my sentiment circles onto. Some 'Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon' and 'Whisper White Baker's Twine' was added to the top of each DSP panel. And here's the other card I created. Just love how the 'True Gentleman Designer Series Paper' does most of the work on each of my cards. I did use the 'Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes' and my Night of Navy Blends to create two perfect little epoxy circles for each sentiment pieces. Here are all four cards that tuck inside this portfolio. So there you have it friends...... Have to admit that this is the perfect little gift to give to someone special in your life. Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday. I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products found in the 2019-2020 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog to bring this card up to the next stamping level. Here's my Spot Light Sunday card from yesterday on the LEFT..... And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the RIGHT..... For my upgraded card ..... I added some extra splash of color. That splash of color comes from the 'Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper'. I added a panel to the top section of my Whisper White base card....... And another panel to the bottom section of my card. My sentiment was stamped from the 'Blooms & Grow' set and two Pacific Point stripes of card stock were added to frame in that stamped sentiment. I only added one 'Perennial Flower' to the front of my upgraded card ....... But for this version, I added one of the new 'Perennial Essence Floral Centers' to the very center of my punched flower. So tell me friends...... Do you have a favorite????? Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
