Some time ago I stumbled upon a crochet bead necklace tutorial published by Joanne L. on her website: HERE I loved her idea so much, so I’ve made this necklace for myself. My favorite Crochet Bead necklace (Эти бусы я сделала для себя--одни из моих самых любимых) Little did I know that this kind of necklaces is widely popular in Russia/Ukraine. It turned out that there, they call them “nursing necklaces” and make this necklace mostly for young mothers with infants. I had no idea :). Here are some examples I’ve found on a Russian site @ http://infomama.com.ua/ I love Joanne’s crochet bead tutorial, but the lack of pictures was a drawback for me. I was a beginner in crochet, and had to go over to other craft sites/blogs which provide more pictures (I’m a visual learner). Here is my version of crochet bead tutorial with pictures. You will need: 11 mm wooden beads; crochet hook, size 10 (1.30mm), 1 DMC pearl cotton ball, size 8. I usually paint my beads to match the color of thread. Make a slipknot with tail end of yarn on right, keeping ball end on left; round 1: Make 2 chains stitches (ch); round 2: work 6 single crochet (sc) in 2nd ch from the hook; round 3: 2 sc into each of 6 sc; round 4-6: Sc 1 into each sc, three times, insert the bead; round 7: sc 2 together in first st, 1 sc in next st repeat 6 times; and round 8: sc 1, skip 1—repeat 6 times. Fasten off. Hide the thread ends inside the bead using the hook. Now you know how to make crochet beads and can use them in a unique colorful necklace. "See" you on Tuesday. Yours, Oksana Слингобусы. Такое слово я встретила в русском интернете для бус, сделанных из обвязанных крючком деревянных бусин. Я понятия не имела, что они так называются и как они используются. Оказывается они делаются для малышей? Это меня сильно удивило (фото выше с разных русских сайтов). В американском интернете упоминаний ни о каких слингобусах я не нашла. Видимо такие бусы здесь не распространены. Если кто-то мне объяснит откуда такой дизайн и слово «слингобусы» пришли к российским рукодельницам, буду рада. Я сделала подобные бусы просто потому, что мне понравилось как выглядят обвязанные бусины. Фото выше. Наверное способов обвязывание бусин много, но у меня есть свой любимый. Вам понадобится: деревянные бусины диаметром 11 мм. Бусины я обычно окрашиваю под цвет нитки. Нитки использую хб, типа Ирис. Крючок 1.3 мм. (1) Свяжите цепочку из 3 воздушных петель; (2) сделайте 6 столбиков без накида во 2-ой петле цепочки считая от крючка; (3) вяжите 2 столбика без накида в каждой из 6 образовавшихся петель; (4) затем вяжите столбиками без накида по кругу, 3 раза; (5) теперь вложите внутрь бусинку и можно уменьшать кол-во петель; (6) провязываем 2 петли вместе, 1 столбик без накида—повторить 6 раз; (7) одну петлю пропускаем, другую провязываем столбиком-повторить 6 раз; (8) стянуть нить, концы спрятать внутрь бусины.
