DIY modular greenhouse guide: 8’x8’, 8’x12’, 8’x16’, 8’x20’ This product is a digital building guide for an 8’x12’ greenhouse. These plans were designed for simple building and modification. Designed after our own real-world success, these plans were designed for other amateur hobbyists – we are neither carpenters nor professionals, just determined gardeners. Therefore, these plans do not require extensive carpentry or construction knowledge; they do require pluck and heart. By making it modular, it is easy to build and maneuver the small sections – assembly can take place on the spot and with minimal aid from other people. The modular design also means that, depending on your space, you can create a smaller or larger footprint. While the main purpose of the design was to start seedlings in the spring, the enclosure was also created as a covered space to enjoy in the summer/fall/winter months. It can be modified to be used as a playhouse, shed, chicken coop, or other backyard building. These plans do not include instructions to build a door, as, for this project, we attempted to use as much reclaimed and recycled material as possible. Used doors can be found second hand from many used building material suppliers. We recommend that you contact these local building suppliers in your area first in order to determine the exact measurements for your particular doorway. The spacing of 4 feet between studs allows for a more open, modern feel. This pdf file includes: - material list - tool list - cut list and templates for angles - budgeting chart - step-by-step procedure and drawings - tips and suggestions The overall dimensions (without modifications) are 8’ wide x 12’ long x 11’6”’ high. Side walls are 90” high. Measurements are in imperial units. For personal use. This is a PDF file. It will be available for download once payment has been received. Material prices will vary depending on your location. We don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations on digital plans. However, if you have any problems with your order, please contact us.

Heirloom Variety Green Globe Artichoke - Non GMO. 85 Days to harvest. These grow 3-5 feet tall. Minimum seed count per packet - 5 Packaged by Raleigh Seed Co. Ready for planting. The Green Globe Artichoke is the king of the artichokes – it's the one you're most likely to find in your local supermarket or at your favorite restaurant. In addition to its delicious taste, the foliage of the Green Globe Artichoke is very attractive, and provides a welcomed aesthetic addition to the garden even after harvest. ♥♥♥ PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS ♥♥♥ Carefully decide where you would like to plant your artichokes, as this will be considered your “perennial garden” that you will not be tilling up each year like you do for your annuals. Artichokes grow best where there are mild winters and long, frost-free, moist summers. They will need at least 100 frost-free growing days. Amend your soil with organic compost and keep it evenly moist, allowing soil to dry between watering. Sow seeds ½” deep and thin to 6’ apart. Where winters are cold, cut plants back to 10” and cover with a box or basket, mulching with straw or leaves to help maintain an even soil temperature. Artichokes bear best the 2nd year and should be started from new plants every 3-4 years.
