Quantas vezes você parou pra agradecer? Me peguei pensando nisso essa semana. Quando a vida nos dá mais motivos pra pedir do que pra agradecer, quando tudo aparentemente parece não ter uma solução plausível ou fácil, quando está fora do nosso alcance ter o controle de tudo, quando não podemos esticar o braço pra fazer algo, o certo não seria agradecer? Porque quando não podemos nada, Deus sempre pode tudo e ele sempre coloca pessoas em nossas vidas que são fonte inesgotável de gratidão. Sempre acreditei que quando tudo fosse difícil a fé tornaria tudo muito fácil, junto com a gratidão por ter tantos anjos ao nosso redor cuidando de nós. Anjos de carne e osso que não se importam em ser nossos braços e nossas pernas, que choram as lágrimas que nós choramos e são gratos por nossas vidas. Essas pessoas são o exemplo claro do amor de Deus. Por isso, eu não peço muito, mas que Deus sempre me dê a capacidade de praticar a gratidão. As vezes a vida é tão corrida e tão difícil, compromissos pra lá, trabalho pra cá, realizações, problemas, a vida é cheia disso tudo sabe, mas vale a pena parar cinco minutos e apenas agradecer. Fechar os olhos, seja numa igreja ou no escritório, seja no ponto de ônibus ou parado no carro no meio do trânsito, feche os olhos e agradeça por sua família, seus amigos, sua vida inteira. Deus não precisa que sejamos bons oradores, ele sabe ouvir nosso coração. Hoje é sexta- feira santa, é uma ótima oportunidade pra limpar a mente e simplesmente pensar no que Ele fez e sermos gratos. A gratidão alivia nossas cargas pesadas.
