Here is a fun camping puzzle for your little ones to practice number skills and number order. Print and use as a busy bag or quiet time activity!
This file contains 12 mini Prefix Puzzles. The puzzles all have 3 pieces; one with a prefix printed on it, one with a base word, and a third with the meaning of the base word with the prefix added to it. The aim of the activity is for your students to work out which base words go with which prefix, to then ultimately discover what the prefixes 'un', 'dis', 're', 'im', 'in' and 'pre' mean. Also included is a Prefix 'Block' Puzzle. For this activity, students need to piece together the 16 'block' puzzle bits to match the prefixes with the base words that are on each of the blocks. The words on this puzzle contain a wide range of prefixes including 'extra', 'inter', 'tri' and 'anti'. In addition, there is a Suffix 'Block' Puzzle which works in the same way, however, students have to connect the base words with the suffixes on the block pieces. There are 2 copies of the puzzles in this file. One is in black and white and could be printed onto color paper. The other is a color version. I'm loving the colors, the graphic design and the iconic style of this cooler than cool Puzzle - and I think you will too! Manufactured in the 1998 by Ceaco (Watertown, MA), this fab Jigsaw Puzzle features a depiction of a lithograph created by Pop Culture Icon Andy Warhol in 1968 entitled "Flowers". This Puzzle Box is unopened and remains sealed - and is much like it was back in the day, with the exception of a small area on the upper left hand side of the Box that has a slight tear (see the next to last listing photo). The Puzzle Box measures 12" x 12" and contains 550 interlocking pieces. When completed, the Puzzle will measure 20" x 20". The Skill level for this Puzzle is not indicated on the Box. Herstellungsprozess der Muster: Ich habe diese Musterserie basierend auf dem Alphabet erstellt. Zuerst habe ich eine Schriftart und Textgröße ausgewählt. Dann fing ich an, am Computer nach Buchstaben zu spielen und dabei ein paar Regeln zu befolgen, die ich mir selbst auferlegt hatte. Hier habe ich so viele verschiedene Optionen wie möglich gemacht. Nach langem Rätseln habe ich die interessantesten Muster ausgedruckt. Indem ich sie zusammenhängte, konnte ich sie besser nach den interessantesten sortieren und nach denen, die sich insgesamt gegenseitig verstärken würden. Dadurch habe ich auch Ideen für neue Möglichkeiten zum Ausprobieren bekommen. Also ging ich zurück zum Computer, um weiter zu rätseln. Ich wiederholte diesen Vorgang mehrmals, bis das Beste aus jedem Buchstaben übrig blieb. Anschließend begann ich mit einer Materialrecherche, um herauszufinden, was ich für die Entwicklung verwenden wollte. Letztendlich habe ich jeden Buchstaben mit Faber-Finelinern im A4-Format gezeichnet.

I've always appreciated a well organized shop. As a kid I used to love to see all my Dad's tools organized on his work bench. Now as I've started to get my own tools organized I'm finding that I still like to look at everything laid out.
