I'm not saying you shouldn't be horrified about what happens to people who are here illegally and know it. You should, because it's inhumane. But spare a thought for everyone else.
It’s been eight years since my wife and I had our first date at Starbucks. We are opposites in every imaginable way: she’s white, I’m black; she’s from Poland, I’m from the United States; she’s Virgo, I’m Pisces; she was born Catholic, I was born Muslim; she’s a vegan, I’m a carnivore. But the most disturbing thing of all is this: she’s a communist (I’m a quasi-capitalist).

It’s summer. You know what that means, right? No, not wedding season, although that’s certainly in full swing, too; I’m talking about moving season. Summer is one of the most popular times to move house (or apartment, or whatever) — and although it…

You wanna know why I like watching movies? Or TV, or theater, or shoot, even a good book? It’s because I like to imagine myself as the main character. Maybe that’s the actor in me. Or p…
One of my most frequently asked questions is, “Can I have a religious elopement?!” And my answer is always YES - you *can* elope and have a religious ceremony 🙌🏼 If you’re forgoing a “traditional” wedding, it’s often assumed you’re not having a religious wedding - but that’s not always the case.
