In Stephen King's book Lisey's Story there is the realm of Boo'ya Moon, that is almost so beautiful in the daytime that it can drive you crazy, but at night it turns creepy, and it's not safe. Yet there is a small sanctuary in the woods behind Sweetheart Hill. A pool. The pool, the source of our creativity and inspiration. We all drink from it every day. Some even go farther out into the pool where the big fish bite. To one side of this pool are stone benches carved right out of the rock. Shrouded figures stand or sit at these benches watching the pool. You have to be careful here. This is where you can sit and think forever. This was a commissioned piece. The prints are now available to buy. There was a lot I wanted to do with this but didn't have the size to do it in, and it seemed like every point of view I could think of was just as good as the last. So it was hard to decide exactly where to draw. It was my first time doing Palm trees too. I never thought I'd have to draw them before. There's also a certain shovel laying hidden in the overgrowth. And the bell still hangs from the tree. “Sea Born” Waves Belt Long fabric belt This belt is from our "Sea Born" collection, a line of clothing for those who love to wander through the waves, watch the sunrise on the beach, and enjoy a sunset over the ocean. This belt is very long and is intended to be wrapped around the torso twice: once under the bust, and then closer to the hips. To wrap it correctly we advise folding it in half and putting the center point just below your bust. Then, keeping the center in the same place, wrap the ends around to your back, crossing them over and bringing them back to the front to tie at your hips. Even though this belt looks simple, it’s actually a tiny marvel of our expert sewing technology! The trim the makes up the artwork on the belt is actually lined with a contrasting satin, with tiny, delicate piping along the sides. This gives the belt more dimension and really makes the design on the trim pop. The bottom ends of the belt have a fringe made of mouline thread. This belt is made to go with the trim of our “Sea-Born” tunic but would look wonderful with other designs as well. It’s generically medieval even that it would blend into a variety of time periods – fabric belts were a relatively common piece of fashion. The wave-like design found on this belt is ArmStreet-exclusive, meaning it was designed by our artists especially for this collection of clothing.
