Hello stampers! The Control Freaks are back this month and we are sharing some clean and simple creations with all of you! You may just be starting the hop or you may have come from the creative Cindy Elam...either way, be sure to make your way all the way through! If you've been following along with me this week, you'll remember that I shared a card earlier in the week with these beautiful Hues of Happiness blooms. I fussy cut nearly an entire page of these flowers and put them to good use for today's projects. First off we have shades of Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo... ...followed by shades of Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody. Next up are Costal Cabana and Pool Party... ...followed by Gorgeous Grape and Fresh Freesia. Each card was embellished with coordinating Glossy Dots and a touch of texture from my favorite Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I chose a few of my favorite Peaceful Moments sentiments, which were stamped in Memento then, you guess it...fussy cut! It's always so refreshing to create something clean and simple! Next up is my stamping BFF Wendy Weixler. You won't want to miss her wonderful creation! Happy Stamping! Products Used:

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world. Today we're sharing our love for Stampin' Up!s Designer Series Paper (also known as DSP), and they do have some beautiful papers! You have just arrived from Vicky Wright. You are currently visiting Robbie Susan Chandler from the state of Florida in the United States. Thank you for dropping by. The card I'm featuring was shared with me by Helen McGhinn, one of the demonstrators whom I meet with each month to make cards together. She designed this card for us as a make and take. The paper I'm featuring is the Hues of Happiness 12" x 12" designer series paper. This designer paper does all the work for you. It's a quick and easy card but looks like you did a lot of work blending all those sunset colors. I adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" piece to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Thick Basic White cardstock folded in half. I love our Thick Basic White cardstock for my card bases as it gives a more professional feel and look in comparison to our regular Basic White. The mountain stamp is from the Mountain Air stamp set and was stamped with Old Olive ink. The boat was stamped in Night of Navy and punched from the Let's Set Sail Bundle (our bundles are 10% off when you purchase the punch and stamp set together). The sentiment and birds are also from the Let's Set Sail stamp set. Both were stamped with Night of Navy ink, and the sentiment was cut with a die from Stylish Shapes Dies. I have provided links below for you to purchase the supplies for you to make this card at home. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Please take a minute to visit the other talented demonstrators' blogs, as you don't want to miss out. Just click on the arrow below or on the links below the arrow. Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a comment to show your love for their project. Next up is Terry Montgomery. If you get lost, the demonstrators and their links are below. June Blog Roll 1. Hi Everyone, This week I have made an Envelope Flap Fun Fold card which I saw demonstrated by the lovely Susan Campfield from USA (I've tweaked the measurements for UK A4). It's a style I haven't tried before but I really like it and it was very quick to make. Let me show you what I did, sorry, not sorry I have used the Hues of Happiness again haha. Materials 1 piece of night of navy card 4 1/8" x 5 7/8" 1 piece of basic white card 5 5/8" x 7 3/4" 1 piece of dsp 4" square, 3 large flowers and 2 sets of leaves either die cut or fussy cut Happiness Abounds stamp set Blossoming Happiness dies Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Trimmer Paper snips Simply Scored Bone Folder Multipurpose adhesive Dimensionals Iridescent rhinestones Take Your Pick Tool Night of navy ink Instructions On the long side score the white card at 3 7/8" and fold and burnish to make a card base. Stamp a sentiment at the bottom of the card front, in the middle and one on the inside of the card, I also stamped a floral image too. Adhere this to the night of navy mat. Put the dsp square in the trimmer on the diagonal and line up the points in the track and SCORE don't cut (ask me how I know haha). Add adhesive to the inside of one half of the diamond shape and add to the inside of the card front and fold the remainder over the front of the card. This piece is left as a flap which will tuck under the flowers. Die cut, or fussy cut three of the large flowers and two sets of leaves from the dsp and add to the card front. Add the centre one on dimensionals at the point of the envelope flap so that you can tuck that underneath it (see picture). Add some bling to the flower centres and some either side of the sentiment and the card is complete. Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too. This amazing, wonderful dsp makes creating beautiful cards so easy! There are 48 sheets of double sided water colour art, all of which are stunning. I've used a single colour on each to show what you can do with quite limited supplies. All of the stamped images and sentiments come from two stamp sets, one old - Sailing Home and one new - On the Horizon. I have deliberately kept things simple, so no die cutting and no embellishment. I did however
