Let me pause here to say - SEEDS ARE AMAZING! I forgot to buy bean seeds and remembered that I had pinto beans in my sensory bins! So I just grabbed some from the bins!!! And they grew!!! AMAZING! And did you know that you can use dry bean soup mix from the store to sprout? Here are the seeds on Day 1. And on Day 11. Painting a mural in your house is much easier to do and you don't need to be an artist. Just need an idea and a little paint. Here are 10+ easy diy murals you to do in your house. Just a couple of years ago, I got the wall mural bug and have already painted at least five walls in our house. Once I did one, I just had to do another. Three of those five murals have flowers, what can I say I love flowers. Once I realized how easy murals are, I became addicted. I rounded up my own mural tutorials and a few others to inspire you to paint your own murals. These rainbow arches from At Home with Ashley are amazing! Such a fun type of arch mural that can be customized for any style or colar pallete. This is a new floral mural that looks like wallpaper in our new home. It was based on a bookmark design and I love how it looks on an actual wall. These arches from Vintage Revivals are so simple and wonderful. You just need a paint brush, some left over paint or paint samples. My first murals using a projector (find tutorial here). The projector made it so much easier to add the flowers on. I really miss those mural and need to do some more line drawn flowers in our new house. This scallop wall isn't exactly a mural but still so pretty. This would make a pretty accent wall in a kids room. I love this fun free style black and white rainbow wall. Again, this can be such a great mural to customize with any color. In fact, you could probably let the kids help with this one. Love this textured arch wall from Banyan Bridges. Her arches are fresh and perfect for a kids room. But I think I'd put them anywhere. We made Kid Rock Climbing Wall for our kids a few years ago and it's still very used. This is such a wonderful rainbow, painted wall. It's very much has a watercolor feel to it. Another rainbow mural as a simple wall mural. Perfect for a small space. This is my most recent typography mural for the kids bathroom and it was much quicker to do than I thought it'd be. Lemon thistle does a beautiful brush stroke floral in this nursery room. It's such a pretty effect on the dark wall. This fake tile mural I did for our laundry room in our old house. I really wanted tile there but I didn't want to do it or pay for it. Painting did the trick. Another beautiful flower mural. I love the simplicity behind the dresser. And this floral mural with a gold pen is also so lovely! I love the green paint! This post may contain affiliate links. Thanks for supporting Sisters, What!
