Designed in collaboration with artist MAX STEINER of 3D Brooklyn. Colorant Gradient Shields are handcrafted from plant-derived components. Each shield is individually 3D-printed with PLA Filament, a vegetable-based plastic made from corn. The transparent face is laser cut from cellulose acetate, a durable film made from wood pulp. The memory foam strip fits comfortably on the forehead composed of soybean fiber. The eco-elastic is made from GOTS certified organic cotton and natural rubber. Design Elements: Each shield is printed in the colors of a rainbow gradient that slowly transitions into a neighboring hue ever so faintly from forehead to chin. Specs: Adult One Size | 9.5" tall x 8" wide x 7" deep They successfully produced and delivered to over 200 hospital and community organizations, as well as open sourcing their shield design for other 3D printers to create shields for their local communities. 100% of the proceeds of Colorant Gradient Faceshields will be donated to Direct Relief.
