How They are Made Our Temple Night Lights are created using finely tuned 3D printers, allowing us to recreate complex geometries and make them extremely detailed. Chin Lin Nunnery est un couvent à l'architecture chinoise traditionnelle et classique (bâtiments en bois, construit sans vis ou clous) fondé en 1934. Il y a indubitablement quelque chose de mystique qui se dégage de ce lieu... Même si on n'est pas croyant, en se baladant parmi les bassins de lotus, les bonsaïs et les bougainvilliers, en baignant dans l'encens et avec de la musique traditionnelle en fond sonore, on est comme submergés par une paix intérieure, on se sent comme hors du temps et presque même hors de nous, et c'est à contre-coeur qu'on ressort de l'enceinte du couvent, et qu'on rejoint le monde "réel". Chin Lin Nunnery 5 Chi Lin Drive, Diamond Hill, Kowloon (arrêt MTR : Diamond Hill) Ouvert tous les jours de 9h à 17h Entrée gratuite Inauguré en 2006 Nan Lian Gardens, superbe jardin de style traditionnel chinois, est un ajout parfait au deja superbe complexe du couvent de Chin Lin. Comme ce dernier, une atmosphère de quiétude et de serenité règne ici, c'est un petit havre de paix, de tranquilité et de verdure au milieu de l'effervescence urbaine. Salon de thé traditionnel, expositions temporaires et permanente, expositions de bonsaïs et de pierres viennent aussi le compléter. Nian Lan Gardens et Chin Lin Nunnery sont des lieux de quiétude totale, parfaits pour souffler un peu, prendre son temps et venir se ressourcer. Je les imagine aussi parfaits pour la méditation! C'est un exemple parfait de temple traditionnel Chinois. Foyer de 3 religions, Taoisme, Bouddhisme, et Confucianisme, il est un important centre religieux, on vient y prier pour la bonne fortune et se faire lire la bonne aventure. Outre l'aspect religieux, beaucoup viennent admirer ses beaux édifices, très colorés et leurs ornamentations. Le large complexe est aussi entouré d'un jardin qui vaut le détour - ne serait-ce que pour échapper à la foule qui se presse parfois à ce temple très populaire- The Good Wish Garden. à l'entrée du complexe on peut admirer les statues des 12 signes du zodiaque, ici le lapin et le tigre. Bien que ces 3 complexes (Chin Lin, Nan Lian, Won Tai Sin) aient été construits relativement récemment (20-21ème siècle), leur style classique les rend intemporels.
