A view of the St. Louis Arch from Laclede's Landing. The Gateway Arch is known as the "Gateway to the West". It was designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen and structural engineer Hannskarl Bandel in 1947 and built between 1963 and 1968. It is the only building in the world based on the catenary arch, making it the iconic image of the city. It stands 192.024 meters (630 ft) tall and 192.024 meters (630 ft) wide at its base. The legs are 16.46 meters (54 ft) wide at the base, narrowing to 5.18 meters (17 ft) at the arch. There is a unique tram system to carry passengers to the observation room at the top of the arch.

Please choose according to your needs. --- Size --- Paper sizes may vary slightly by region. For the US and Canada, the measurement is in inches, while for the rest of the world, it is in centimeters. --- Poster --- Museum-quality print made on FSC-certified 200 gsm / 80 lb matte (uncoated) paper. --- Hangers --- The hangers are made from pine with a cotton rope attached at the top matches the hanger color. Designed magnetically, the hangers do not damage the poster. --- Frames --- Our prints with wooden frame are delivered with plexiglass and back wall. They are ready framed and can be hung after unpacking. For some deliveries, the posters may be packed separately in an inner cardboard folder. Then place the enclosed poster in the frame after receipt. --- Metallic Prints --- Metal prints on aluminum are very durable. The matte version is printed directly on the aluminum with high quality inks. Brushed prints have a metallic appearance. White colors disappear on brushed metal - in favor of the metallic effect. --- Production and Transportation --- Our prints are made individually for you. Products are shipped from a local printer near you to save energy and protect the planet. It usually takes only 2-4 days (free fee) to deliver. However, if a material or frame is not available locally, we reserve the right to ship internationally or suggest an equivalent replacement product. --- Digital JPG File --- You can also purchase a digital download file to print yourself within 24 hours.
