Limited edition signed giclée fine art print, part of the series "Imaginary Neurohistology". Images for "Imaginary Neurohistology" are created using a combination of histological drawings made by Spanish neuroanatomist Santiago Ramón y Cajal and his contemporaries over a hundred years ago, generative art tools, and digital photomontage. I created these images as a reinterpretation of the various cells and circuits that exist within our nervous system. I wanted to recreate the feeling of possibility and wonder one gets when they first peer at something new under a microscope. All giclee prints are signed and numbered, and each image is part of a series of 50 prints. Images are printed to fit within an 11X14 mat opening and are printed on Somerset Velvet paper with extra margins to allow for framing and cropping. Prints are sold unframed, but you can easily frame them using a standard 16X20 frame with an 11X14 mat.
