I've recently rearranged my stamping room and office, combining them together (lovin' it!). While I was cleaning and reorganizing, I came across some old projects from when I first was introduced to Stampin' Up! 10 years ago. In addition, I came across a card online that reminded of this technique and I thought I'd bring it "back from the past"! My "old" project featured a technique that was shared with me at one of the first Stampin' Up! parties I attended. Stamping all three layers at the same time. When you "pull them apart", you could use them on different...

I know, we are all in the mood for Spring! That's why this week I chose Bo Bunny's cheerful and beautiful 'Sweet Life' collection papers and embellishments to make a couple of cards. Spring is synonymous with weddings, so I thought it would be fun to create a bridal shower invite using 2 sizes of the Bo Bunny paper doilies. It's super easy to create this cute little invite card using the Bo Bunny Doilies, some Sweet Life paper and some double dot cardstock. Here is a quick little step by step on how to fold the dress design.... The key to getting a nice frothy look to the skirt is folding slightly off center so that you can see the layers. Here is a close-up pic of the finished dress.... I simply added a strip of the green (Clover) double dot paper and made a little 'ribbon' for the dress and added a tiny white rose to finish the look. A dear family friend just passed away and I wanted to make a sympathy card that could bring a little cheer to the family. So I used one of the pretty floral papers from Sweet Life, fussy cut some of floral images from another of the papers and added another folded doily and some coordinating buttons from this collection to add a finishing touch. I also added a pretty pink blossom from the Blush package of Bo Bunny Blossoms. I attached my fussy cut little flowers with some foam adhesive dots to help them stand out from the page a little. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I really appreciate all the kind comments and feedback :)

As Lorde once said, "and we'll never be royals"; but we can sure party like them with the sweetest Union Jack Yarn Heart Garland. Help commemorate the upcoming coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. If you're having a party or simply want to add a bit of pizzazz to your home or work area, you are going to love these yarn crafts. It's a simple project that uses scrap or recycled materials. It's easy enough for kids but a fun craft for adults as well. You can even turn each yarn heart into an ornament instead of garland if you prefer. There are actually several different uses for this easy-peasy craft project. The Union flag pattern lends itself well to the shape of a heart, however, you could easily choose other colors or one color of yarn for occasions other than royal weddings, especially as an even easier yarn craft for kids. PLUS! These Union Jack Cupcakes on RecipeLion are the perfect complement to this garland. Check them out and get decorating!
