"Be Still and Know That I Am God." - Psalm 46:10 Be Still.....that's a little hard for us to do. Be Still.....being still means that our minds will wander. Be Still....do you know that God does not speak to us in the busyness, the rushing, when we are doing all of the talking. He speaks to us in the stillness, the quiet, the peace. Have you heard God whisper, "Be Still" to you? He wants to talk with you, spend quality time with you, intimate time with you. When our minds are hurried and we are rushing throughout day, we miss hearing His voice. But, when we are still, in a quiet place with our mind and soul in a calm and quiet state, we can hear Him. We know that He is God, this means He is in control. All the busyness and rushing does not put us in control, it takes our focus off of Him and then we get off track. Listen for Him.....the tiny whisper, "Be Still and Know That I Am God." Only He can calm the storm that could be raging around you. But, when you are still, you can hear Him. He will provide the guidance you need because.....only He can. "Be Still.....and Know That I Am God." The two go together, be still to hear Him and don't forget that He is God.
