A choice of two handmade linocut prints on wood of my rabbits Arthur and Molly, with hand cut and beaten copper stars and strung with metallic thread. Arthur is the white lop, Molly is the dark one that looks like a hare. They make lovely Yule decorations or keep them up all year round! They're printed on 3mm sustainable plywood with a dark blue waterbased printing ink, there will be slight differences in each print due to the handmade nature. I now also have a brown version of Molly the Hare! (this also comes with stars though they aren't in the picture shown here) The stars are hand cut and beaten from copper sheet, please note although smoothed sharp points can remain, so please keep out of reach of children! measurements are approximate Arthur 25cm long x 8xm high Molly 28cm long x 10cm high Stars 4.5cm diameter
A celebration of Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare, who first sprung into our lives 20 years ago!
This “All About" book will be a fun addition to your classroom and lessons on the Arctic hare. This packet can be used along with books specific to the animal or it can be used on its own. Included in this unit are a full-color poster with a colorful graphic of the animal and information on the animal such as; where the animal lives (green), what the animal eats (brown), interesting facts about the animal (blue) and what the animal looks like (orange). Also included in the pack are the students own “My All About" book. This is where the student can take what they have learned and fill in the blanks to help them retain the information. There are 4 pages to this book. The front cover gives the student a place to write their name and date and has a large graphic of the animal being studied. The 2nd page asks the questions, “Where does the animal live?” and “What does my animal eat?”. The 3rd page has a graphic of the animal and asks, “What does my animal look like?” This is where they can label the parts of the animal and also color the animal in. The last page says, “Interesting facts about my (animal)!” The last 2 pages have an answer key box so the students can match the words from the box to the correct spaces. This will help the student as they work independently. Along with the colorful poster and “All About" book, this packet also includes a teacher’s guides on the animal, which gives you all of the answers. These booklets have all the work and research done for you. Your students/children will love to learn about this animal! If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected]. Thank you! Courtney McKerley Other polar animal books available are polar bears, caribou, walrus, Arctic wolf and Emperor Penguins. Those 5 books are available as individual units or as a bundle pack. Three Hares is a lovely lino cut print of one of my favourite animals. Three Hares is hand burnished onto Somerset Satin paper from my hand carved and inked lino block. It is printed in a limited edition of only 100 lino prints and each one is numbered and signed on the front. This lino print started life as a much smaller one, the hares were so lovely I couldn't resist working them up into a bigger, bolder image. The listing is for an unframed lino print and I will send it to you backed with card and wrapped in cellophane, so ready to give as a gift or ready to frame. The image size is 16cm x 20cm and the paper is approx 29cm x 38cm.
