As a young girl, I have always felt that I could not relate to the dolls I was given to play with, so I would end up making my own using plastercine or clay. In my creative works, later on in life, I have added clay to fashion dolls to enlarge them in my "Barb Plus More" art projects. I would cast their reliefs onto walls in plaster or mold them into silicon rubber to make fuller figured dolls.

My story began 3 years ago when I, a mother of two, saw wonderful toys made from an unknown material, which, as I later found out, was wool. I got really interested in this technique and decided to try making a toy myself. My first toy wasn’t nearly as pretty, it was rather funny, but I enjoyed the process so much that I kept trying.

An adorable, soft bat plush! Each one is unique and lovingly handmade by me :) This bat plushie is made using rose-patterned cotton and pink minky fabric. (Due to the nature of of the rose print, the pattern placement may differ slightly than what is pictured.) They have a height of 6 inches from the tips of their ears to their toes and roughly a 12-inch wingspan. *Please note that not every bat will be exactly alike due to the hand-cut pattern pieces and the hand stitching on the outside. I try my best to ensure premium quality in every product, but I do not guarantee absolute perfection.* *Also note that this plush has safety eyes and is not appropriate for small children as it may pose to be a choking hazard.* Feel free to message me through Etsy if you have any concerns or questions! I will get back to you in 24 hours. Thank you! Thanks to BeeZeeArt for making such an amazing pattern! Bosco the Yarn Sloth is an original pattern for crochet made by Kati Brown. She fell in love with the Hoffmann's Two-Toed Sloth while visiting the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Hoffmann's Two-Toed Sloth is larger than the Three-Toed sloth and does not have the familiar "mask" around the eyes.

Last year, my coworker and I at Parkside School decided to try theming our classrooms like Hogwarts houses from the Harry Potter series. It went over so well with our students that we decided to take it a step further this year and theme our whole hallway. We hired a local artist to paint murals and added three-dimensional elements to give our students a totally immersive experience.
This handmade Mid-century Modern style cat house is 18” wide, 18" deep and 20” tall, with a hole cutout that’s big enough for even the chubbiest of cats to fit through and small enough to still create a private enclosure. Whether your kitties are shy or just like cozy nooks, they would love for you to add this adorable furniture piece to your home. It doubles perfectly as a side table or plant stand. It is recommended to add a pillow or your cat's favorite bed inside to reach max coziness potential! You can purchase this product unfinished and ready for you to apply your own stain or protective coating to or you can order it already stained and coated. Feel free to message about custom inquiries including stain/coating, height, or size! *Note that the walls, top/bottom, and legs of the house may take stain slightly differently from one another as they are different types of wood.* *The wood used for the top and bottom is hand-cut and comes with natural knots and imperfections that add character to the appearance of the product.*
