Pressed flower cards and envelopes set of 3. Handmade paper botanical cards. Great for all occasions. Every card is blank inside, for your personal words that you want to write to your recipients. Dimensions : Card - 10,5 cm. x 13,5 cm. ( 4,13 in. x 5,31 in.), Envelope - 11,5cm. x 16,5 cm ( 4,52 in. x 6,49 in.) The cards are made from several different types of paper. The paper with real pressed flowers (Buttercup, Forget Me Not, Daisy,) is my own creation. I have created a special method of producing paper with pressed flowers and plants. My paper is thin but strong, little glossy, and has good light permeability. That way the flowers and plants are well seen. Other paper is recycled in pastel beige color These two papers are sewn together. Here you can see the final result- greeting card. The card has a white blank. The envelope is made from recycled beige paper. Each card and envelope is unique because it is handmade. Colors may vary depending on the screen. Natural flowers and plants change color over time. February so far, road trips and island hopping, demolition and decorating, handmade valentines, spring blooms and lovely things to read.
Here is a hard to find Valentine card collection: 15 cards handmade by school children from the late 1920. several are dated 1928 and 1929. They range in size from 3 to 5 inches. Sone are made with construction paper, others with Manila one one with kind composition paper. Theverses inside range from sweet to clever. One card has a piece of its front missing, but it’s worth saving because the back of the heart is made from an ink blotter. The verse inside reads; “If you make a blot, do not get hotter and hotter, just soak it up with a valentine blotter.” Most are done in crayon and a few with paint. Very sweet cards from almost 100 years ago!
Pinwheel Tower cards are really popular right now, and for good reason! They’re fun to make and to receive. From my perspective, all those extra card folds create possibilities for additional elements, which I love! My stepped-up version includes a window and a couple of pop-ups, and I’ll show you how to add those to your card as well! The version I show in the video uses a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create the central “tower,” and you can find those measurements below. Some people

Handmade 100% recycled cotton paper with deckled edging. Acid-free. Size | 8 ½ x 11 inches. Size variations and imperfections may occur because each paper is individually handcrafted with recycled materials. It's rare, but flecks of other colors could be present in your paper, this adds to the unique nature. Expect 1/4- 1/2 inch variance on all sides. The size is a guide, and each sheet varies. Some of the edgings may be uneven, "wildly deckled." Each Color Pack- 10 sheets The Assortment Pack Includes 6 sheets: Cotton, Celadon, Coastal Gray, Misty Blue, Charcoal, and Black. Weight / 200gsm | Texture / smooth __________________________________________________ Printing | This handmade paper works with letterpress printing, inkjet printing, and hand calligraphy. Printing Note | While I can not recommend laser printing due to the manufacturer's requirements for each printer, we have used laser printing with beautiful results. This is perfect for last-minute projects! Due to the deckled edging, this paper does not fit in a standard 8 ½ x 11-inch tray; when using it in the printer, you will need to cut or tear ¼ -½ inch off one edge to feed through your printer as an 8 ½ x 11 sheet. All printing pictured is printed with an HP Color LaserJet Pro M452nw. Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I hope, wherever you are, that you are experiencing some lovely weather. Adelaide has been cold and overcast for weeks but, today, we finally have some sun!! It's still pretty cold though so all I can say is "Bring on the summer"!!!! OK, down to business ... I have another card to share with you. A very masculine and quite 'grungy' card as my title suggests. I distressed all the edges with my Ingvild Bolme Distressy Tool and inked them with 'Gathered Twigs' Distress Ink. A bit of Heather Jacob influence here I think, but still with my own stamp on it!! If you don't know Heather (Can't really imagine that, but) HERE is the link to her blog if you'd like to take a look!! You won't be sorry, as she creates the most gorgeous and inspiring projects! Looooveeee her work!! The papers used are from Prima's 'Engraver' Collection. The tickets were fussy cut from the papers then I crumpled them a little, inked the edges and slipped them in between the layers. Used a spatula to add some 'Clear Rock Candy' Distress Crackle and, when that was dry, I went over it with 'Gathered Twigs' Distress Ink to bring out the cracks. I then just used my finger to swipe some gesso around the edge. I love how the gesso also 'cracked' when it dried. Used the same technique on the belly band as you can see. I've had the metal key and the clock in my stash for a little while and am not sure where I got those but I really love that key. Was a bit sorry to use it as it is the only one I have but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet don't you?? Here's another closie of the 'crackle' effect. I really love it and you'll be seeing a lot more of this in my work!!! Decorated the inside with wide bands of the paper which were border punched with the 'Optic Dot' Punch by Martha Stewart. Then I added a bit more texture with Tim Holtz 'Latticework' Stencil and 'Frayed Burlap' Distress Ink and, again, wiped a little gesso around the edge on one side. A different view ... lying down ... ... and standing up!! This is the first of two 'grungy' masculine cards I created. The second is similar to this but of course a bit different as well and I will show you that one further down the track. Thank you so much for visiting today and I do hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Take care and God Bless.
